The Connection

We came from Chicago for a long weekend and went to connections for some fun. BLOWN AWAY!! Best drag show ive seen. (sorry Baton).  We ended up seeing 3 shows, 2 in one night. And, each was different. Then we danced for the first time in 10 years. Everybody was awesome. The only thing that could have been different was to many bridal parties. But, i get they gotta make a buck. See you soon!

I like the Connection.  Had some good times in my younger days. If you want to be around a lot of gay people then go on the weekends and make sure you catch one of the drag shows.  This is not the place to go for a relaxing night. lol.

I thought I had made a fatal error when I first walked into this club and saw half naked guys dancing on tables, but luckily the gay's good taste in music and style attract heterosexuals as well.  In fact, most of the people I met were straight, so if you're hesitant to swing by based solely on orientation, keep in mind this is NOT exclusively a gay night club.  There's plenty to do here with the bars, Karaoke stage, and large colorful dance floor.  On Saturday it closed at 4am.
