I came here with a loud and difficult party and I have to say that our server, Evan, was patient, understanding and very polite. I ordered the California Club Cobb salad which used to be a really yummy signature salad. The shrimp tasted like it came out of a ziplock freezer bag and the crab meat was overpoweringly fishy. The big chunks of artichoke hearts were watery and completely flavorless. My cousin ordered the Thai stir fry with shrimp and they brought him chicken instead which may have worked in his favor at the end although the dish was Ho Hum overall. The people that got steaks seemed to like them but I have a hard time with any restaurant that can mess a salad up this badly. The Bristol has a sterling reputation in Louisville but after this, I wonder if this particular location is surviving solely because of reputation and proximity to downtown events. Thank god for Evan, he bumped it up from one star to two.
