I loved the atmosphere of DeVino's the moment I walked in the door and immediately wished that I was eating in rather than carrying out. Â Unfortunately my 30 minute lunch break just wouldn't allow me to enjoy their very welcoming and somewhat retro environment. Â After looking over the listing of potatos, wraps and pitas, speciality sandwiches, signature dishes, salads, pizzas, and calzones I decided to build my own baked potato. Â The cashier advised me that the potatos were already out of the oven and that it would be a matter of minutes before my lunch was ready. Â I watched as the cooks assembled my lunch, package it, then sat it on a counter in the back and went about with making other food as though I wasn't standing there waiting for it. Â It took them a full five minutes (an eternity out of a 30 minute lunch break) to get to bringing it out to the counter. Â So, I'm docking them a star for letting a finished item die on the counter. Â However, when I did finally get to eat my baked potato with sour cream, cheese, and chicken it was tasty. Â The potato was very large, soft, and fell away from the skin and the chicken was moist. Â There was plenty of cheese and sour cream. At $6.49 this made an excellent lunch.
