Los Aztecas Mexican Restaurant No 2

We were downtown and came across this restaurant. We ordered the guacamole dip which was excellent. My bf ordered 3 grilled chicken enchiladas platter and I ordered the chicken flautas  platter. My flauta was small but tasty. My bf wasn't impressed with the chicken, it was a bit chewy. The sauce was good and so was his beans. We asked if we could order a hot tottie and was told no (he's fighting a cold). The service was ok, the waiter came by twice, once to check if food was ok and to clear the plates.

I frequent this place because it is close to my workplace. The food is mostly good Tex Mex but the service can be spotty depending on who you get. Coincidentally, the last 2 times I went there, I had the same server but his service left a lot to be desired. I understand it can get unbelievably busy at this place on a weekday for lunch but there is no reason to be rude. Their quesadillas are very good!

Came late Friday night while visiting  a friend there. We knew we were heading downtown for drinks and dancing, and I had seen this place a few times while visiting. We were seated right away, and there werent too many people in the joint, a few outside eating/drinking. The margaritas were great, but beware the price $10+ for one drink, holy cow! Maybe the house ones are cheaper, didnt ask. The chips were good, salsa was very tomato-y based, i shouldve asked if they had anything spicier. On the bright side- our food (chicken flautas) was extremely delicious and fulfilling! Average priced food, I wouldnt say cheap for dinner. Side note- Our server was a bit too friendly towards us, almost in the weird creepy kind of way.
