Amici

This was my second visit to Amici. First experience was fair, so we decided to try it again. My 20 yr old son and I went for the burger because he thought it sounded good. Both of our burgers were absolutely tasteless. It was the worst burger I've ever had in my entire life. We told the server that the burger was terrible, and she didn't offer to take it back or bring us anything else. We each had 2-3 bites and got the rest to go. Then the burgers promptly went in the trash at home after smelling the meat -smelled old and "off". My stomach started hurting badly. I called the manager to let her know she may be serving old meat. She was very rude and told me the meat was fine and she didn't know why my stomach might be hurting. After making several attempts to get me off the phone, she asked if I wanted something. I said no, I'm ever eating there again. I just thought you'd like to know your meat was bad and you might be making people ill with it. Please do not eat here. Service and food are both really, really bad. I just hope I'm not in the emergency room later with food poisoning.

I would choose a chain restaurant over this place. The staff is inattentive. I ordered the meat and cheese tray and they brought me deli sliced provolone and a meat that had a blue tint to it. It was supposed to be cured ham. I had to cover it with a napkin because it was so disgusting I couldn't even look at it. The bill ended up being $60 and I had to go to a drive thru afterwards. I've heard horror stories from past employees.

I will try to be as nice as possible on this place.

I visited during the St. James Art Fair weekend. A time where restaurants and businesses should be ready for the "crowds", and have plenty of help on hand.

I was seated in the patio area with my nephew, where we waited for 15 minutes before even getting a server to grab us a few standard Oktoberfest beers.

Then we both ordered the sandwiches, The italian beef which was the worst italian beef sandwich ever sold on the face of this earth

I ordered the chicken Parmesan sandwich which was the worst chicken sandwich I ever had.
This is suppose to be an Italian restaurant I dont think the chef has ever been to Italy in his or her life.
