Hyatt Regency Louisville

Visited this hotel for a conference, and they were ill prepared. Front desk staff was rude and unhelpful. Facilities were adequate but not impressive. Ridiculous charges for in-room internet access. Good location if you're looking to pick up 50 year old women drunk on box wine who think Front Street Live is cool.

I like this hotel fine, but it could use a little renovation, or at least some new carpeting. The rooms are fine, but outlet placement isn't the most convenient. Having said that, there are definitely enough of them, just awkward to get to if you want to charge your phone and not have to go across the room to retrieve it.

Registered guests are given free internet access. Love that!

My room smelled a bit too much of Febreze, or whatever that 'hotel smell' is. I believe they use it when someone smokes in the room previous to your own arrival...wish they'd find a less obnoxious scent, a nice citrus perhaps? :)

The location is phenomenal, easy to get to from the airport and very convenient to some great restaurants and entertainment.

Staff were very friendly and welcoming, answered any and all questions I had.

Beds are comfortable, no problems there at all!

Great location but nothing special.

You have to pay for Internet, you have to pay extra to get in and out of the garage, no free breakfast. If you are going to charge more for your hotel, you have to give something back in terms of perceived value, even if it's sticking a serve yourself coffee area in the lobby. It does have fast elevators, but things are a bit worn around the edges. The pool is one of those things. The water was cold, there was no hot tub or showers in the bathrooms, the door to the outside was not closed and it was low 30s outside. The tiling and room itself were old and in need of updating. Double beds look like they are made for hobbits. You kind of get the idea that someone from the airline industry decided to do what they do to air passengers but in a hotel setting. The difference being I have way more choice in choosing a hotel and won't be choosing this one any time in the near future.
