Be aware that their hours are limited: 10-3 which would be my one request - longer hours.
So, that said this is a vegan dream! Â I had the house salad minus the cheese and we tried two dressings, the balsamic and the poppy seed. Â This is a spinach salad with veggies and toasted seeds - very fresh and abundant!
For the entree, we split a wrap but I wish I had ordered one for myself, alone. Â It was an asian tempeh wrap with crunchy noodles, greens, carrots and perhaps a seasoned sauce? Â Sorry to be a bit vague. Â It came with one side and we chose the bean salad - sweet, not too oily, simple.
All this and we walked in at 10 minutes til closing time but they accomodated us at the little bar. Â All ingredients, coffees, and teas are organic and non-GMO. Â They do serve meat which is locally sourced. Â There is a nice selection of smoothies, too!
The location is the old Bodega on East Market which is a really charming little venue and we understand from the barista that there will be a space adjoined there where a local radio station will be broadcasting local artists only in the near future. Â
I'm ready to go back and try many, many more selections!
