Who is writing these reviews? Poor food, uncouth tourists and high prices make this a poor choice.  Girls are great, good service...would be shocked otherwise, but Hooters is getting crushed by Buffalo Wild Wings because chicken wings are served there, not pigeon wings! Ask for the wings "naked" and see what you get, it's a rip-off.  Hooters will fail because they have taken their customer base for granted and offer neither value nor appreciation.  This review pains me because I was a huge fan for many years, and it would be a shame to see this establishment fail.

I came here after buying a LivingSocial deal for it, and it was alright. Food was pretty standard fried fare, drinks were decent, but our server was a doll. She was nice, fast, and dealt with the large group of us very well.

For a Friday night, it was surprisingly empty.

The restaurant and restrooms were clean.

My family and I decided to go to Hooters for our last day in Virginia Beach. The atmosphere was pleasant and our waitress was very nice. I shared a 20 piece chicken wing and a fry with my dad. The wings were delicious, the fries were cooked perfectly an crispy. We all shared a dish they all "Lots of tots." It was a dish that had tatter tots with melted cheese and chopped bacon on top which was delicious. We all know what else they are known for but their food does also make them stand out. They also somehow make the place into a family friendly restaurant. I would defiantly recommend this restaurant.

Hooters on General Booth has been my favorite location in Hampton Roads since moving to Hampton Roads. Back in the day they had a waitress named Kat who was rock'em sock'em hot and ended up on the billboards here, in the calendar, in the magazine and in Playboy. And to think, she served me wings. Those were the days. That entire crew has changed but the girls they have now are still awesome. Sierra is my waitress of choice. Food is still on par and as good as Hooters gets.

Bottom line, this is the best Hooter's in Hampton Roads.

Where should I start? I guess going to Hooters I should've known what I was getting into...

I went to watch the last UFC (Edgar/Maynard III), the first turn off it was the fights were not on HD! Oh well it was a good card but still no HD! The burgers here are not good at all, it was just me or I'm spoil to In-N-Out! While I'm trying to watch the fight the waitress kept bugging every so often if I need something, and trying to put conversation, it was quite frustrating. I mean, in the middle of a fight only in her dumbass thinks its ok, to try to go ask dumb questions during a fight...

Then I went to smoke and threw away my beer! GRRRRR! I was upset but they gave 2 without extra charges, but still...

Bottom line, unless you are going for the boobs (which they are not that great either, they are lacking some meat there) the lack of HD, the poor quality of the food, makes BWW, and any other bar more attractive option for game day or fight night...

So beyond the fact it's a Hooters, I was pleasantly surprised with this Hooters.  The girls working here are really friendly and are great at their jobs.  The service was quick and only when it came to checking out and shifts had change did things get a bit slow.  They have military mondays (25% off for the person with ID/in uniform) and several other promos that go on during the week.  The BF and I shared the fried pickles appetizers.  They were a bit greasy, but still delicious.  The boneless wings I had for lunch were pretty good too.  I had the garlic ones, and even though they didn't taste that garlicy they were spicy and delicious.

Best Hooters I've been to. A couple of the girls are in the calanders and magazine, so you won't be dissapointed with the atmosphere. Word to the wise, we military folks love this Hooters. So if you can't stand sailors and marines, you're out of luck.

Every single time I come here it is amazing.  Had Amy yesterday for our Hooters Girls and she was fantastic. Honestly Hooters is very lucky to have her.  She brings people back.  So does Joy, another HG that works there.  Absolutely 100% down to earth and friendly.  What I like about it, is it never seems flirtatious.  It's just really nice girls working there.  Thank you Hooters on General Boothe for really standing out.  The place is always clean, you are greeted with a smile, you are seated quickly, beer is on the table in seconds and the food is spot on.  Hey, I know it's fried food.  But it's F#$%ing great fried food!  Bathrooms are always clean, complete withe the latest sports page to read tacked to the wall and even soap in the sinks (which is rare these days in restaurants)   I sadly will be moving to San Diego in a month but I will always hold this Hooters as the model establishment.  Thanks again!

    Oh yes, one more thing,
"De-boning chicken wings" is simply pure hotness!  Maybe it's just the word.....lol

One of the nice things about the franchise that runs the Hampton Roads Hooters is how they do a few things differently from the Hooters of America owned stores.  One of those differences is how they celebrate "Wingsday" (Wednesday boneless wing special).

The Hampton Roads Hooters Girls are all in themed costumes on Wednesdays.  A few months ago when I was at the Chesapeake Hooters the theme was pirates.  During my December Wingsday visit the girls were all in Christmas themed outfits - sexy Ms Santa, Elves, and my server who was in a golden dress with halo - trying to earn her wings. (Insert your own joke here.)

The Hooters Girls were all in a happy mood, conversational, and made Wingsday a pleasant experience for all the customers.

What can I say I love the hot wings there and the scenery.  Support your local hotties that work to pay the bills.  I remeber this place use to be a Bojangles and Fast food chinese resturant.  Looks like Hotters is hit here with the military crowd.  Place gets packed for lunch and dinner.  So be prepared to wait.
