Hops & Barley

I love the beer selection at this place.  They've really expanded the beer menu by leaps and bounds in the past 6-8 months.  

They have also refined their food menu to concentrate on fewer menu items to make them all great.  My personal favorite is the Friday night fish and chips.  Lightly battered and never over fried or greasy.

The wait staff is pleasant and attentive but not overbearing.

One of our favorite places in the neighborhood and one that keeps us coming back.

I took all reviews 3stars or less as a grain of salt because Hops & Barley is a real nice place.

During the summer we take the dog with us. They always bring her a bowl of water and a treat.

Rude staff, mediocre food, decent drink prices. (when they have specials)

Management is careless. Complained about the bartenders attitude and demeanor to management, and got no apology. It amazes me that some people work in the "service" industry. Its not for everyone.
