Hugos is always the first place I take new visitors to Fayetteville. The menu is diverse, but it is the location and atmosphere that makes it unique to Fayetteville. It is located in a basement and was the first restaurant I ate in when I came to Fayetteville in 1996, so it has sentimental value to me as well. I highly recommend Hugos for good burgers and fries.
Review Source:I thought this place was outstanding in every respect. From the atmosphere to the quality of the food, I was very impressed throughout my experience here.
The blue burger was, as advertised, as good a burger as you will find...anywhere. The house cut fries were great. I loved the guac. The cheese tray was good. My wife and daughter probably misordered a bit but they were still pleased.
If there's a better restaurant in Fayateville, I'd like to see it.
Smiley face and a star.
I just ate at Hugo's Tuesday evening this week. Â I enjoyed an excellent char-grilled burger and fresh-cut fries. Â I grew up in the area but haven't lived here since 1979, and even longer since I had eaten at Hugo's. Â The food was great, just as it always was in my youth. Â
Price rating below depends on what you order. Â You can stay in $10 range easy enough, but can easily go beyond depending on your taste, appetite, and maybe "thirst".
