Hungry Pelican the

This based on 1 item. My boyfriend is in town visiting and is looking for the ultimate hush puppy. I ran in there order 3 to go. The restaurant's decor is old and it looks like a mom and pop joint. The lady behind the counter was nice. It took the close to 5 minutes to bring out the hush puppies. My bf took one bite and said no. I took one bite and agreed. The puppy is gooey and bland. Nothing could save it and I wouldnt even try especially after the gooey bite.

Good down-home seafood.  Restaurant interior and exterior is a bit dirty and tired, however, the fish and chicken are great!  A little bit of proper marketing and a makeover would make this a serious contender among other seafood joints.
