Came ill prepared for this one. Didn't read my reviews in advance (or the full name of the place, apparently! Shame on me.

I got free tickets through my work. I took my bestie on our monthly date night. We decided to grab dinner beforehand because I didn't know they had dinner here. Next time I'll try it.

We got pretty good seats - center, near the front but not in "accidental participation in the show" close. We each ordered drinks.

The comedians were pretty good. I was laughing pretty hard at a few jokes. There is always that one comedian that goes a little too far and it just becomes offensive. But the others made up for it.

Would definitely give it another whirl. Would try the food because it looked amazing. And would want to see some new upcoming comedians.

We came here to watch Jo Koy! He is freakin hilarious! The improv was a cool place to go. We got the VIP tickets but there was no VIP line. The food was good and huge portions. Our server was very nice and helpful. Will definitely come back again.

Was fun! Food was a little overpriced for what you get, but not out of the ordinary for the area. I say eat at the The Pub in the same plaza (OMG THE FOOD IS CRAZY THERE) and THEN attend your comedy show. :-)

Great service as well as national and local comedians.

Living in Raleigh, NC, home of one of the premiere comedy clubs in the country (Goodnights), I have to say the Improv was a very good home away from home!

Four of us enjoyed drinks and a show on a Saturday in April.  I will say that where we were seated (to the extreme left of the stage), it was a bit awkward, but that's not totally unusual for comedy clubs, and we certainly had no problem hearing.

I will always vote for live comedy to thrive.  Would not hesitate to go back next time we're in town.

Came here to see the Wayans Brothers perform. Definitely a great show! The service at this place is great too. Wait staff was friendly and food came out quickly. I'd recommend going with at least four people or else you will be sitting with two other people you don't know. Also, to get there early of you want seating close the stage. Because the seating towards the back with the hightops aren't too comfy.

I have been here many, many times over the years. It's a great chance to see popular comedians and some that are just starting out.

Tickets are fairly inexpensive but prices are based on the popularity of the comedian.  Be forewarned that most of the comedians use foul language and can be raunchy in terms of subject matter. Most shows are over 21.

If you would like seats close to the front, you need to get there early. They like to pack the tables in tight. So if you're a party of 2, don't be surprised if you're seated with a table of strangers.

Food and drinks are served during the show. Orders are taken and a waitress brings out to you. I believe this is how they make their money as the prices are definitely on the high side . So it may be wise to eat elsewhere beforehand and just grab a drink when you're here.  Don't forget to tip!

Shows usually last about 2 hours with 2-3 comedians taking the stage before the actual headliner.

Make sure to sign up for their emails and texts to receive free passes! I always get emails for them.   Groupon has vouchers available every so often as well.
Parking is validated so that you only pay $2.

I enjoy coming to this venue for a fun date night! Would come out more if it was closer to my house!

Came here to see John Pinette. I was not disappointed. The show started at 7:30 but they didn't start seating till after 6:30 and there was quite the line.

Their food prices are crazy of course. And you need to buy the souvenir cup to get free refills for soda... Not a fan. But their food was actually tasty. I got their prime rib; kinda fatty for me but their potatoes and vegetables were on point. The boy got the blackened chicken Mac n cheese, yummy! It's more like Italian than traditional American, so you've been warned. My grandparents got the Italian wrap, and while the meat and cheese in the wrap were great, it was terribly dry, to the point to inedible as a wrap, so they took out the insides and ate it with the Mac n cheese.

The acoustics were great and the opening comedians were hilarious. I would go back to see caliendo or bobby lee for sure.

The Orlando Improv is an excellent experience for tourists as well as locals. They deliver large names such as Russell Peters, Gabriel Iglesias, Frank Caliendo, as well as many others. However, do not let the laughs stop there, the Improv has many unknown acts that perform on a daily basis for an excellent price (A mere $15 a ticket).

If you haven't had the chance to visit this venue, then you truly are missing a gem. I dont know about you, but I would take a live show over a movie any day

Went to see Bill Bellamy here and had a nice time.  There was quite a lengthy wait before the show to get in to get a good seat, we stood in line for about 30 minutes, my wife is pregnant so it was a little rough for her but otherwise it was a nice time.  The staff also took a little while to come over to our table and take our orders but after that they were very fast.  I would recommend this venue for a good comedy show and we would come back.

I've been here twice - both to see comedian Jo Koy.  He was hysterical and it was a great venue.
It's a little tight on space - but it also gives you an intimate feeling.  I think that makes really funny people even better when you are just so close.

The Improv is a bit expensive.  Expect to pay tourist prices for food and drinks.  Both times, I've ended up with a bottle of wine because it was cheaper than any other drinks on the menu.

The food itself, is surprisingly good.
The theater is actually attached to a restaurant - so it can get confusing on where to actually go for the show.  And it's curious if people go there just for the restaurant.
First time I had some chicken fingers. Those were good as I can remember.  This last time I had the chicken quesadilla and it was really good.
The only downfall the second time is that our food took FOREVER to come out.  So long, in fact, they gave us vouchers for a free show.  I like to be done eating before the comedy starts - that didn't happen and I feel like I couldn't focus on the show..or the food!

I didn't really know what to expect going into this place as it was a last minute decision. It is so nice and upscale, a pretty dinner theater. It was a bit offsetting that you purchase tickets at the ticket booth then have to enter through a restaurant but I guess they are one in the same. I assume the food and drinks they serve come from the restaurant. The meet and greet afterwards was also held in the restaurant. So, a little confusing.

I like to try and go with at least four people - that way you will sit together.  If it's just two of you, you'll be stuck with strangers at your table which I find weird in this setting.  Mostly because you don't have time to really talk at all and then this comedy show starts.

I've been to this Improv a few times and have had an okay time each visit. As Colleen B. mentioned, expect tourist prices...it's in the heart of tourist central in Orlando! The first time I went, we stuck to just drinks but one of the beers we got had this giant glob of muck in it...how would the server even THINK to bring that to our table, I don't know. Obviously, we sent it back and they brought us a new one but, I mean, really?

The second time we came we got the quesadillas and drinks and everything was really delicious. The service is pretty quick so that's not really an issue in my eyes. The second and third time we came, there were issues with other people having lots of loud side conversations while the comedians were on the stage. I know that's not something that is the Improv's fault and can't really be controlled but it did kind of make the evenings a little annoying and frustrating to be distracted.

Overall, I like this place and I'm sure I'll be here again soon. If you sign up for their text-to-subscribe, they offer free tickets sometimes.

Comedy clubs rock !!! Granted, how much you like the place is directly proportional to the quality of the comedian, but by the same token, I rarely go to a comedy club at random. Meaning, that I usually go because I like the headliner.
As for this place, it is conveniently located at Point Orlando, which is a bonus because you can make a complete evening out of it.
Grab some drinks at a close by tavern in advance so you're warmed up before the show, enjoy the show and a couple of drinks and then go out for  a bite afterwards.
The place is cozy and virtually all seats in the house have a pretty good view of the stage, so you're good no matter where you sit.
Service is generic, but by the same token, you're not even paying attention because you're laughing at the jokes.
Overall, it is a good place for good experiences.

Went last night for the Jo Koy show. Had a great time. The Orlando Improv is bigger than the other 2 Improvs we've been to. The food was decent and the drinks were tasty. The staff was nice, but service was slow. It was clear there weren't enough servers for all of the people there at the show. I think it's a nice touch that they have someone coming around to take pictures. Towards the end they have it printed out and ready for purchase. We opted not to buy ours and they weren't pushy about it.

I went to the later shower, and arrived maybe 20-30mins before showtime thinking that we could get good seats and have a drink/talk before the show.  However we were not allowed inside the theatre and had to stand in line outside - that was the only bad part about the experience.  Overall good place, comedy was good, drinks were okay.

I love the variety of comedians that they bring. The service however needs improvement. The food is pricey, the seating arrangment is tight, and the service is not that great. Giving is 3 stars due to the inconsistancy of the service. If you want seats in the middle section go early. Late comers get seats in the back and sides of the stage.

Admittedly the Orlando Improv is the only comedy club I have ever been to. That being said, I have been back probably about 20 times over the course of 2 years.

I have been to a variety of different shows ranging from fairly famous comedians all the way down to a show of no names and some first timers. Honestly, every show I have seen was quality. Tickets may be in the neighborhood of $30 for a more famous comedian but my advice is go see a show of someone you may not of heard of, it will not disappoint.

The club is small, but not in a bad way. It is intimate and a great place to bring a date or kick back and enjoy some laughs with friends.

INSIDER TIP: The drinks and food are not the cheapest inside the club. Luckily it is located at Pointe Orlando, so head over to Adobe Gila's: <a href="http://www.yelp.com/biz/adobe-gilas-of-orlando-orlando">http://www.yelp.com/biz/…</a> right beforehand to pre-game on the cheap!

FUN FACT: Don't pay for the show! Yes you heard me right, there are some ways to get free tickets to many of the shows (not the big name guys but stop complaining.....it's free). Sign up for their email newsletter and you will get periodic emails  for up to 4 free tickets, also, if you happen to own or manage  a company, they have a program where you can get up to 20 free tickets.

Second time at the Orlando Improve but last time I attended an event here it was located in church street about 4 years ago and I got to see Gabriel Iglesias this time it was Shawn and Marlon Wayans (Wayans brothers) amazing experience getting to see this two funny dude that I have been watching on TV for years.

The place moved from Church street to Point Orlando since last time I came here so It was a bit hard to find since I had no Idea it was in Point Orlando, anyway the place it self is up stairs next to the movie theater.

The improve it self is not very big and has table that sit four per person so if you go by your self or with another person most likely you will have to sit with another couple of group of people, no problem with me because the ones we sat with were pretty nice and had previously  gone there plenty of times.

They offer food and drinks including alcoholic drinks, they have appetizers and salads and your main dish and even desserts. The food is nothing fancy...salads, fried shrimp, mac and cheese or french fries. To drink you can pay $7.99 and get UNLIMITED soft drinks (Pepsi items only sorry) and you get to take home a souvenir glass cup witch is a bit expensive for 8 bucks but it is unlimited refills.

The food it self was not the best but for $6.00 bucks my salad was pretty big and the person I went with order there Quesadillas from there appetizer section and they were not to bad either, we both ate with drinks (two soft drinks) and tip was included for $44.00 bucks a bit expensive but that is what I was expecting from a comedy club.

The service was not bad and the waiter refilled our drinks plenty of times and took care of us even though at times he disappeared for a while and the food took a while to come out specially when I ordered a salad, I mean what they do go out back and get the salad head from the ground? but over all it was a good experience,

I would rate this place four stars because the service was not to bad and the food was okay, also the comedians they offer here are some of the best I mean come on it is the Wayans brothers but the price to see them was worth it specially since we had front row seats right by the stage so we got piked on a few times but not as much as the couple in our table.

Well worth the money and if you pay $10 bucks more you get VIP and get to meet and take pictures with the Wayans brothers...Shawn and Marlon.

Definitely coming back specially since I checked in with Four Square and got free passes for a non engagement event to come back for free but I will come back to see other comedians even if I have to pay .

Been here a couple time to see Charlie Murphy and Rob Schneider. The place it's relatively  small and cramped and the fact that you have to share  a tiny  table with two estrangers  if you don't go with a couple of friends, well, it;s kinda of a bummer for me as both the occasion we were paired with anti socials  kinda of weirdos. So my advice is to try to go as a group of 4 or more so that you're not seating 10" apart from estrangers.

The food plain sucks and the drinks are waterdown and expensive.

They bring pretty good headliners but the overall experience for me was poor. On the pricey side in terms of tickets as well as food and drinks. The staff was rude and pushy. The setup is a bit awkward depending on the table and seat you get.

The place definitley seems to be geared more towards tourists.

Nice venue, but under no circumstances should parking be charged at Pointe Orlando.  We were partially validated meaning we had to pay $2.  Cheap yes, but what a hassle and a wait at the end - this is only I-drive people!   At the club we had excellent service and did not have overly long waits.  If you are a couple there's a 99.9% chance you will be seated with another couple - not my favorite thing to do and the tables were tiny, about the size of my living room end table... Awkward when trying to eat, unless you are a contortionist.  (I do get why they cram little tables in like this, but...)  Anyway, about the show...it was great!  After all, that's why we were there, and the comedians didn't disappoint, hence the four stars.   I highly recommend laughter :-) at The Improv.

This is a great venue, small enough that even if seated in the back you have a great view of the stage.  They host well known comics and tickets are very reasonable. If you see someone you like, act quickly to reserve, or risk the chance of missing your preferred time slot.  We ended up going to the later show, which was fine since there is an adjoining restaurant with a bar area.

It's a perfect alternative to dinner and a movie for date night!

As far as ambiance,/decor, this is probably the nicest/cleanest comedy club I ever been to (this includes comedy clubs that I visited in New York, Las Vegas, Chicago).  The Improv is definitely better than ANY COMEDY CLUB in Atlanta.  I repeat. THE IMPROV IS DEFINITELY BETTER THAN ANY COMEDY CLUB that Atlanta has to offer.... why????

Well, it is cheaper!  The tickets and admission is quite reasonable and will not break the wallet.  Doesn't brow beat you with 2 drink minimum crap like most comedy club establishments will.  What I like about the Improv is if speaking on Atlanta terms, it combines the type of crowds from Uptown comedy club and the Punchline.  I love verastile crowds of all backgrounds that brings versatile comedians.  I am a fan of the Improv and will return if ever in Central Florida  I had a tremendous time.

    Grade: A-

Recently saw Pauly Shore at this theater and it was a blast!

Obviously expect tourist prices here, it's I-Drive and in The Pointe. Tickets were $25 each, nothing was included. The drinks and food are also pricey but, like I said, expect that. I didn't really like the idea of eating while listening to comedians, you would have to time your laughs in between bites so we just went with drinks and an app. They have Magners cider... WOOHOO! We went with the sweet potato fries and they were delicious, I think we both blinked and they were gone we ate them so fast. The dip they come with, some sweet glaze, I wanted to purchase it and add it to a salad with chicken or take a bath in it, ideally both... at the same time.

We did have to share a table with a couple which was a little weird because the theater def did not sell out but I am sure it helped with service and we had a phenomenal server who was on top of her game.

So, if you want to spend a little more and see top notch comedians, this is your stop. Good times. GREAT date night idea.

    Parking is validated too.

Hmmmmmm what to say? On the one hand, it's nice to have a place in town again bringing in national touring acts not big enough to fill a stadium. On the other hand, there's lots to be fixed...

We went to see Rob Schneider, my first visit to the Improv on I-Drive. The entrance to club is a bit bizarre. You stop at the ticket booth, then go around to the entrance for some restaurant (Big Blue Fish? - doesn't seem open), then loop back around again into the Improv. At any rate, the layout is good, tiered seating so you should be able to get an eye on the talent no matter where you're sitting.

First thing I noticed? The sound system. What the hell is up with this? It was so quiet that people murmuring at the next table were louder than the comedian. Seriously? Are you afraid we'll hear it or something? The volume was so low I spent the whole night straining to hear the comic, and sending annoying glances at the narcissistic ditzy blonde at the next table who had to comment on everything. There's enough speakers in the place to deafen the crowd, not sure why it was so quiet.

Problem two? Like SO many places like this, they seem woefully understaffed. You're LUCKY to get a second round of drinks to your table before the show is over. I never understand this. The cheapest piece of a restaurant/bar/clubs overhead is waitstaff. They make HALF of minimum wage. So instead of spending an extra $30 that night to make sure everyone's taken care of, they lose what is no doubt hundreds in sales. Try to wrap your head around that business plan. I've seen this everywhere, Mama's, the old Improv downtown, and every comedy club in every city I've been to. It's just stupid.

I didn't try the food, so I won't comment on that. Beer selection wasn't stellar, but they had Abita Turbo Dog, and that was good enough.

Will I be back? Yes. They're the only game in town for the kinds of acts they pull in. I just hope they turn up the volume and hire some more waitstaff. Unless of course they don't want my money.

    A. Freaking. Blast! I'm so glad we got to go to the Amateur night. They seriously had comedian after comedian revolving for a little over 2 hours and they were alllllll so funny in their own way. I had an incredible time. They serve great cocktails and food there during the show and the staff is great. They check on you a lot and definitely are personal and fun.

It wasn't my first stand up comedy experience but it definitely is my favorite. I want to go to more in the future ... different nights, different themes, different comedians. I want to do it all.

One thing is that you have to be 21 and up to get in so have your ID. (I think it's 21, maybe it's 18 LOL). But the show is not for the faint of heart. It's an interactive show, it can be vulgar and completely out of left field but it's hilarious. If that's not your type of humor, this isn't for you. If it IS your type of humor, what are you waiting for?! Go!!

Been there 4 or 5 times in the last month-ish and for the most I can say they are consistent. The weirdest thing to me is that their restaurant, Fat Fish Blue, is only open on nights that there are shows. I could understand this a few years ago when Point Orlando was a ghost town, but it's picked up steam again and I would imagine it could perform even when they didn't have a show.

I've only eaten while at the shows, so I'm not sure if the menu differs from the normal restaurant, but there is a decent, but not amazing, selection. How soon you get your food usually depends on how early you get there and get seated. For this reason alone I think it's a good idea to get to any show pretty early so you are not having to deal with your server much during the show.

Overall the servers have done an excellent job at being honorary ninjas. They move throughout the crowd taking orders, delivering food, and refilling drinks, all without being some huge distraction. It seems they are trained to ignore the comedians, which for the most is part a good thing, so they are not stopping and laughing while doing the job. At a show last night, it seemed one of the servers was trained a bit too well. During the show she went to talk to a customer about their check. This would be no big deal but the guy was in the front row and the comedian was in the middle of talking to the customer as part of his act. The comedian was obviously annoyed that it paused things for a minute, but it was not detrimental.

Also a first last night, my entire party received their food, and after 5-10 minutes I went to check on mine. It was a burger, which shouldn't have taken any longer considering 2 others at my table ordered burgers. They apologized and had it out within a few minutes. What happened, I'm not sure, but I was able to resist eating a fellow patron and survived.

The mac and cheese is best things of theirs that I've had, while I've held off on the pork because I haven't heard of a lot good things. The burgers come with sweet potato chips. Resist the urge to upgrade to fries. The chips are delicious and perfectly sweet.

Pleasantly surprised by the Orlando Improv!

Easy to get to, though parking is a super pain in the butt thanks to the Point Orlando parking garage.  You walk in through the Blue Fish (?) restaurant and are greated by super polite gentlemen who escort you to a table in a room full of tables, leveled stadium seating style toward the small stage.

All in all, it created an intimate atmosphere in a pretty good sized space. The sound system was killer - crisp, clear, not too loud, juuuuust right. The lighting was perfect - I could see what was on my table, but it was too dark to see much else besides the stage, which was juuuust right. And the laughs were good! (Though I was there to see Jo Koy, so that was a given).

The drinks were a bit pricey but the food was reasonable and delicious. It came out quickly, and I have to give it to the server for his perfect timing.

We got drinks and ordered, the show started, the food came out not too long after it went dark, he made us aware of last call, and then he came by with perfectly separated checks and had EVERYONE in his section (I saw about 15 check presenters with credit cards sticking out) done, cashed out, and ready to go by the time the show was over. Literally PERFECT timing.

After the show let out we made a bee-line to the table to meet Jo Koy, take pics, buy a t-shirt. This is where things fell apart. The Improv should have a bit more organization here. There was basically a huge wad of people that eventually worked itself into a line.

Highly recommend the Improv to Orlando locals. Word to the wise: If your show starts at 7:30, leave your house by 5:30 to get good seats. If you're too early, just walk around. Chances are, you won't be though.

The Improv has returned and with a bang if I may add!  They were previously located downtown and have now relocated to the Point Orlando. If you have never been you are missing out on one of the most entertaining places in Orlando.

They feature well known comedians and up and coming stars. If you're really in the mood for a few good laughs you have to visit on open MIC night!! It's a blast regardless of the event when you attend a comedy night at the Improv.

All kidding aside the food is actually pretty good here! Serving size is good and quality exceeds expectations. Don't think of it as comedy club food, it's more like restaurant food served at a comedy club.  On the menu for the club are Improv classes, which I promised to sign up for one of these days after I have had enough to drink.

Prices of the shows vary, but all within reason, and expect to have a great evening.

    ***WARNING***
If you sit next to the stage expect the show to become very interactive! It's a comedy club so everything is about having fun! Leave all morals, attitudes at home and enjoy the jokes!!

Looking for something original to do in Orlando last night, we searched around and found Improv Comedy Club.  It is located at the Pointe Orlando shopping and restaurant complex (<a href="/redir?url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.pointeorlando.com&s=2b0fb2d43bcdcfee4dfec79775e5052e2737bc86793142de21beaa6bef40fa6f" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">http://www.pointeorlando…</a>), right next to the parking garage on the second floor.  It shares a building with Fat Fish Blue (<a href="/redir?url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.orlandofatfishblue.com&s=b46b262e44adef03584c1bc766666acf8c38a0a3918e1e962ba975da868ea37b" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">http://www.orlandofatfis…</a>), an American bistro that specializes in Cajun food.

We had an outstanding time!  The set up is a little confusing, and unfortunately their own website is even more confusing, so I'll quickly explain how this place works.  It is a comedy club and dinner theatre.  Despite its name, they do not do Improv, at least not on a regular basis.  They have local and nationally known comics performing.  You purchase a ticket to see the performance.  The tickets are around $22 per person.  At this time the tickets cost the same whether you purchase them in advance or at the box office.  The ticket is only for admission to the club; it does not cover the cost of any food or drinks, even though if you purchase the tickets online they say "full menu."

The vast majority of the tables are four-seaters.  That means, if you are in a party consisting of more or less than four people, you'll either be split up at adjacent tables or you'll be seated with another party.  Since my wife and I went as two people, we were seated with another couple.  There are no reservations; tables are sat as people arrive, front to back.

Dinner is optional.  You can arrive up to an hour and a half early if you want to enjoy a meal before the show.  However, they continue to serve food and drinks throughout the entire performance, so if you want to eat you do not have to get there early.  Again, no food or drinks are included in the price of admission.  You can see their menu here: <a href="/redir?url=http%3A%2F%2Ftheimprovorlando.com%2Fmenu.aspx%3Fm%3D-1&s=b3cf9e585904e1f7ec0eec4787e069f6f2d87983655e33746429b1bfa491552b" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">http://theimprovorlando.…</a>

We were not particularly hungry so we just ordered the sweet potato fries along with a few beers.  The fries were very good.  I was especially impressed with the bourbon butter sauce.  The couple we sat with ordered two salads and a dessert, and they said they were very happy with their food too.

Regarding the show, there were three comics who performed.  The first was local comic who also served as the show's MC.  She performed for about 10 minutes and then introduced a second comic.  I'd say the second comic was regional--he was from Tampa--and he performed for about 20 minutes.  Then our headliner, John Pinette (<a href="/redir?url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.johnpinette.com&s=3b6c26a6e34fd23ebb36238f2d3ecd0dff6e45493600dbfe776d7e8d9ada644e" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">http://www.johnpinette.c…</a>), took the stage.  He was spectacular.  I'd say he performed around a 50 minute set, and he kept the audience laughing the whole time.

Overall it was a very enjoyable evening.  I am really grateful we decided to try something new.  There are a few things to be aware of though.  First, the service is pretty slow.  It probably took us about 30 minutes to get our fries.  Luckily our drinks came a bit quicker.  Don't let this stop you from going!  Just think about grabbing dinner at one of the other Pointe Orlando restaurants either before or after the show.

Again, overall, this made for an excellent evening on the town, and I highly recommend it to anyone.... that is, anyone 21 or older.  They do not permit guests younger than 21.

Insider tip: You can take drinks from the bar at Fat Fish Blue into the comedy club.  Since service in the club tends to be a bit slow, grab a drink from the bar first.

We used to go to the Downtown Orlando location (when it was there) lots of time - seeing as though people always get emails for free tickets. Even if it's a comic that you don't know, it's still *normally* going to be funny.

Since they have moved the location to Pointe Orlando (which makes me happy because it's WAY closer to my house now), the inside of the club was a lot more comfy and welcoming.

We've been twice so far and will be going back again this weekend. If you're looking for a nice, not too expensive night out, grab dinner somewhere and then pop in to a late show.

They serve food in the club, but it's not the greatest of menus by any means, however for what it is, the food is okay.

Mega funny comedy joint that consist of somewhat tasteful blunt jokes. I went here to see Guy Torry who is a hilarious energetic comedian that rolled out jokes like coins from a money roller. The best part of this comedy club is that it is nice and dark so the comedians will not point you out unless you are way too obvious or look like a celebrity. LOL.

The servers are highly up to par with their service; overall this is a great place to get drinks. I recommend getting the rubber chicken drink because it's like a step above a blue long island (all the drinks have funny names.) They also have a menu with appetizers to satisfy an appetite but with all the laughing it must be a tad bit difficult to enjoy a meal. Still an enjoyable evening can be spent here if you are in a mood for a good laugh with family or friends.

Went to see Bill Belamy with two opening comedians.  Love the venue--very classy and comfortable.

Me and my friend shared a table with strangers, which was quite nice actually.  The Improv serves appetizers and some dishes, that I did not try, but the sound system, seating, and comedy were all really great.

The lines were somewhat of a cluster $%@ and confused people, but in the end, we all were admitted in time for the show.

Would love to return for some other acts. . .

Love it!  I just have to say that I WILL BE BACK..again and again.  I love stand up comedy, and was delighted and surprised to find that the grand opening of this club was this past weekend.  They were originally on Church Street in Orlando, and closed a few years back.

We saw Harland Williams (the headliner on Aug 1)  He has been in lots of films (Dumb and Dumber, Half baked, Freddy Got Fingered, etc...and was hilarious.

They asked if we didn't mind sitting in the front, so I said why not.  It really wasn't bad at all.  They didn't "pick" on us at all, just asked questions and used them in the act.  The other two comedians were great as well.

The couple with us ordered food and it looked and smelled delicious.  We had already eaten next store, so skipped dinner.

I look forward to going back and seeing new acts and trying the food.  Best of all we got a BOGO for being there friends on Facebook.  The total with a few drinks was under $40 for two people.  Not bad for 1.5 hours of entertainment.

I was here for the grand opening with Harland Williams. Harland Williams? Mofo awesome.

Ambiance? Pretty awesome. The place is big, the prices are appropriate for the Pointe (ie, expensive, but it's on I-drive, so) and the drinks are strong. Dinner is an option, but my date and I already ate prior. Smelled tasty enough, though.

Crowd? Pretty awesome, save for the rowdy chick who we sat with who was summarily kicked out.

So crowd control? Pretty awesome. Hecklers are dealt with swiftly! Hurrah for security!

As for service, well, that's a different story.

When you go in, you're asked if you don't mind sitting with other people. We did not. I'm not sure if the servers were equipped to deal with this, as we had made it clear several times we needed separate checks from the people we were sitting with.

Imagine my surprise when I was stuck with the bottle of wine my compatriots ordered!

We ended up waiting about 20 minutes while I repeated that we had one cocktail and a soda to like 5 different people.

This was somewhat buffered by the fact that we just kind of hung out with Harland Williams in the lobby while we waited. He's a nice dude.

In the end, I don't know if their computers were going nutty or what, but it seemed an impossibility for me to pay for my soda and cocktail, so they just said to forget about it and it was on the house. That was nice, I just wish it didn't take nearly a half an hour after the show to sort out.

However, I DO like this place and I will be back. I know opening nights are nutty, so YOU should definitely give this place a chance. Just be very clear if you're sharing a table with someone that's it's not on all one check and you'll be set! :D
