This place has a really good location, right next to Yard House and at one of the entrances to the Spectrum. Service is slow because they don't hire enough waitresses and bartenders for events which takes awhile for the food and drinks come to the customer.
You feel like everyone is all squashed together. The venue has to be bigger, with more spacious aisles for the customer and the waitresses to walk through. The food being OK is overpriced.
But I always enjoy the comedians that perform here, I always have a great laugh.
I went to the Improv  tonight to see Chris Tucker.  The show was great, but our waitress was not.  We went last Sunday to see Bob Saget and the waitress we had was great, so I know this is not the norm.  Our waitress tonight was Leah S.  She charged the other couple at our table twice, forgot my drink, forgot my boyfriend's dessert, and then blamed the kitchen for both not coming.  She also added 18% gratuity to our ticket -we were just 2 in our party (the show was sold out so the other couple at our table were people we just met tonight).  My boyfriend asked her why she added gratuity to our tab (not suggested gratuity, but actually added gratuity) and she said it was an accident and she'd fix it.  The other couple got this same charge and we looked at the tickets left at other tables around us and she did the same.  She was hoping we wouldn't notice and add another gratuity on the blank gratuity line by the total.  We had discussed her not being friendly before the show started and now I know why -she is no there to earn a tip -she's charging you for it regardless.  Like I stated before, we went the week prior and there was no gratuity added on the tab.  If you get Leah (blonde straight hair and no smile)  CHECK YOUR TAB BEFORE YOU PAY!  If you work in the kitchen there, know that she is blaming you for her mistakes.  Leah S. sucks.  I have been a waitress and currently work in a kitchen and would never want to work with this girl.
Review Source:TERRIBLE SERVICE, OVERPRICED DRINKS, POOR MANAGEMENT.
I went there for a WORK EVENT with fellow colleagues. We had been having a pretty awesome day so far and were quite exited about the 2 free drink tickets and watching Chris Tucker together.
A bit before the show, our manager came to us and informed us that apparently our server had complained to her manager saying that we were being rude to her and that if this behavior continued we would be "escorted out."
While I know for a fact that we were laughing loudly, and messing with each other, NO ONE treated the server unkindly or improperly. We were actually considerate of the fact that we were a big table and excused her for TAKING SO LONG TO GET OUR FOOD AND DRINKS (AND OFTEN MIXING THEM UP). To top it off, when the check came, we were overcharged because she had been unable to keep track of drinks and discount the tickets properly.
I would not recommend a place where THE CUSTOMER IS AUTOMATICALLY WRONG SIMPLY BECAUSE A SERVER GETS FRUSTRATED BY BIG PARTIES AND MAKES UP LIES TO EXCUSE THE FACT THAT SHE IS UNABLE TO DO HER JOB PROPERLY, and leads to not only an UNCOMFORTABLE time, but also potential EMPLOYMENT PROBLEMS for people attending their work events there.
There are better places to spend your time and money, especially when looking to have good, clean and respectful fun with your coworkers.
