Islands Restaurant

I've been coming to this chain for years and celebrated a birthday here a while back. Best vanilla shake at a restaurant I've tasted thus far. It's thick, frosty and never disappoints. Also good is the tortilla soup, nachos, big wave  with cheese, bleunami and hula burger. The only thing that leaves something to be desired was the chicken strips.  Last time I checked, chicken is not supposed to be pink when you bite into it( salmonella, anyone)?

I love this place! When you're in that mood for a big juicy burger and those yummy fries, this is the place to go! The service is great, the food is great. It's a very simple but good restaurant!

Apparently this place has gone thru some management changes - not for the better.  The current General Manager is a gal, I think she said her name is Leah?  She has changed some of the staff or they have left because our favorite waitress and waiter aren't there anymore - when we asked about them the NEW General Manager came over and was SOOOO rude!  What a bitch - I said as I held my children's ears.  Food quality has gone way down - new chef??? And the new hostesses and new wait staff are not attentive and not fun - WHAT HAPPENED???
