On my day off during the week I like to have lunch out. I saw a lot of reviews about this truck so I Â decided to give it a try.
I ordered the beef burrito with everything on it. I also got hot sauce and guacamole on the side. Â Price $6.00
As soon as I opened it up I couldn't believe the portion size. IT was HUGE.
IT was a  large crispy burrito wrap with sliced beef lettuce tomatoes avocado and I think there was some cheese. I guess I'm used to taco bell because there were no beans in it and I really like beans in my burritos. The food was fresh and tasted good. I had one small piece of beef fat but that was it. I took pictures of the truck for all to see. I couldn't find him at first because he moved from his usual spot but he's still on upper Broadway. Across from Fullerton Avenue.
I definitely recommend him I think the next time I'll try the Chicken Burrito.
Enjoy
Best place to eat in the City of Newburgh! The tacos are great, fresh cilantro and limes, what else can you ask for. The price is excellent., our tacos for five dollars. I had the chicken tacos. I want to eat here every day. I can't wait to try the refried beans. I thought it was going to take a long time, but my tacos were ready in no time. Â Don't be put off by the appearance of the truck.
Review Source:I was planning a weekend getaway upstate so I looked up restaurants Anthony Bourdain visited during his trip to the Hudson Valley on his website. We were surpised to see that the Ixtapa Taco Truck was not actually featured on his show after our (wonderful) visit because the food was excellent and the guy was SO nice!
We got the beef tacos (3 + coke for 5 bucks), chicken tacos, and chicken quesadillas. Everything was really good, and I don't usually like mexican food. I would urge anyone in the area to make a taco truck visit, it's well worth it.
I'm surprised this place isn't reviewed yet, I could not find it on yelp. We were visiting hudson valley and knew Anthony Bourdain had an old episode there so we checked the locations he went to. This place is actually not in the episode but it is listed on his site, which is a shame because this place needs the business more than the restaurant that his friend Bill Murray endorses.
It was a rainy day so we drove up to the curb and grabbed three tacos each and a coke for 5 bucks. He uses shredded cheese, which may not be authentic but I prefer, and a hot sauce that is really good. It was so tasty and we were full but we still decided to run back and get a quesadilla.
The guy operating the stand was very helpful. If we're ever in the area again we'll definitely stop at this place.
