No, no, no. They charge $6 for a bottle of water, and they don't offer free pitchers like I've seen just about every other place do. At the end of the night, they had the nerve to tell us, "Tip isn't included" and hand the check back to us, when the only thing they did for us the whole night was bring in a tray of five $6 bottles of water (which they didn't warn us about). Ridiculous.
You have to select songs from the screen at one end of the room right by the TV, so if a couple people stand up, it blocks the view of the screen, at least in our room. It's inconvenient to have people constantly having to get up in order to select more songs.
They divide their artists up by mainland or HK... but what about Taiwanese artists? You just have to pick one category and hope they're in there somewhere. Their song selection is not the best. When we'd pick the karaoke version of songs (without the original artist singing), the music would sometimes go in and out, so you felt like you weren't getting a proper track to sing to.
The microphones were very, very quiet. The covers they gave us for them ripped almost immediately.
Don't go! It's not worth the drive or the effort.
Very bad experience. First of all, the sound system is terrible with high pitch metal sound coming from mic all the time. Second, very limited song selections. (can't even sort the song by singers!!!). The service was horrible too, no body shows up no matter how many time you ask for it. The owner also tends to trick you for overcharging (definitely look at the bill before you pay!!). Don't recommend this place at all!!
Review Source:There is something very strange going on in this place, and I'm not entirely sure I want to find out what it is. Everything that happens in this establishment takes place secretly, behind closed doors, or with the wink of an eye. With a simple handshake and $40, you can get into one of their private VIP rooms, where who-knows-what goes down. Your guess is as good as mine.
The atmosphere in this establishment is very dark, very shifty. You can never quite tell who's looking at you, or why.
Just when you think you have the answers, more questions arise. But the staff won't help you with any of this. In this place, you're on your own.
This is one of the few places left for Chinese karaoke. It makes no diff to me since I can't sing for squat! Just for fun and games.
They have a common singing area if you like to show off your skillz. if you are a rather private crowd, they have rooms. I don't know if they have the latest and greatest songs since I haven't kept up in the entertainment arena.
Do note though, if you pay with credit card, they charge 2% more. Be sure to stop by the atm before you hit this joint. If you are the hard liquor type, you should think twice about coming here since they only serve beer and wine.
I just went to a wedding banquet that jazzmoon is their dj... What can I say... They totally suck! Music is way too loud! The dj refuse to adjust the volume after many people have asked. I should have stay longer but I just can't. If you consider having them as your dj at your wedding banquet, don't!!!
Review Source:You want cheap Karaoke? Â Here it is! Â I think during the day hours its $15 for 3 hours/person which includes a drink...wow! Â I'm not much of a karaoke fan, but this is a pretty nice place. They serve beer/wine and there are TV's in the lounge for the non-singers. Â
Plenty of lot parking from the supermarket. Â
My only gripe is that they don't have much to eat..but I guess if you're right next to a supermarket.... the option is yours for the taking.
