The Banshee

I've been going here for 10 years now. The food is great and there is a wide range of options for a pub. The staff is always friendly. Its great for popping in for a few pints, dinner, or even a Saturday night when you want to hear some music.

Despite moving out of the neighborhood a few years ago, I still stop by on a regular basis.

I live in the neighborhood and go here on a weekly basis. Nice people and above-average food (pretty great for a local pub in the Dot, really). Great weekday evening locale and their upstairs can be rented out for private parties.

I'll say this: the music can get crazy loud after 10:30 on a weekend night, regardless of how many patrons there are.

When the place is packed, louder music is welcome, and we bust some moves. But on a quieter Friday when the crowd is thin, we're watching the game or whatever, and no one is dancing? Read the room, guys! That's all I'm saying.

I've started and ended many a night in this place and I intend to keep on doing that. Maybe I'll meet you there sometime!

Outstanding food.  I got the fish and chips( best I have even had) the fish was flaky and no grease, the chips were perfect.  My boyfriend got the seafood pie which was to DIE for .
