Do you like beats?
How about bass?
What about some good ol' fashioned booty shaking?
If you've answered yes to all of these questions, I'd think it's about time you get to know Soul Clap, Boston's own bad-ass boys who rule the ones and twos. They get the party started, keep it going and and infuse all the events they spin at with energy.
I've seen Soul Clap at Phoenix, The opening of Mizu in the Mandarin Oriental, The opening of Foundation Room at House of Blues, Â Dancing on the Charles, The Style Matters Spring Silhouettes Fashion Show and countless other events all over Boston. These guys are everywhere and have the talent to craft just the right sounds for every room size, crowd and event style!
Whether you're at a private event, an industry party or a night of plain old dancing, if Soul Clap's in the house, rest assured that your ears, legs, mind and soul will be pleased.
The first time I heard these guys was at the post MIT museum party at Z-Square in Cambridge. At first I thought that they just happened to be at the bar, but after asking around, found out that they were there because of us.
The musical selection along with the transitions between songs were absolutely amazing. I couldn't say enough good things about them (specifically Eli, as he was the one spinning when I was trying to figure out who they were).
Needless to say, I was psyched to hear that they'd be DJing the yelp prom. If you have a chance to see these guys, go, seriously.
