  I received a mailer for a promotional sandwich so I decided to stop by to check out the sandwiches here. The menu is pretty extensive and all the options looked delicious.  I opted for the chipotle mayo cheese steak sandwich.  
  
  Jersey Mike's offers the option of having your sandwich on a white or wheat bread roll.  I went with the wheat bread which tasted good and was SUPER soft and fresh.  The sandwich took about 5-7 minutes to cook on the grill because mine was a hot sandwich.  Cold sandwiches looked like they took less time to prepare.  
  
  One thing that makes this sandwich shop stand out was that they do not pre slice the meats and cheese here.  Instead, someone will slice the meats and cheese at the time the sandwich is ordered.  The slicer is viewable from the wait line so you can see exactly how the sandwich is prepared.  Definitely something different than Potbelly's.
  
  I ordered my sandwich to go and when my sandwich was ready, I was concerned with the weight of the sandwich.  It felt light in my hands.  However, upon eating the sandwich, I did notice that it was loaded with meat and cheese and chipotle sauce.  My regular size sandwich was big enough for two meals and tasted delicious.  The weight of the sandwich was probably due to the fluffiness of the bread. It was airy and soft and wonderful!
  
  I'd be happy to come back here again to try the other sandwiches on the menu.
  
  Service here was fast and friendly.  My only issue was the line.  I was not quite sure where to go after placing my order.  I was also not quite sure where to stand and wait for my sandwich after paying.  Thankfully the line was not long and things were not busy so I just hung around the cashier until my order was ready.

  I really enjoyed the turkey & provolone - super fresh and good.
  Their veggie sub selection is seriously lacking, though.

  Opened up as the 4th sub place 0.1 mile radius from my apartment, and after eating there twice in the 3 days it's been open, it is already my #1! The employees are so friendly and the food is great! Much more selection and much better than it's competitors :-)
