Never had problems with JJ.. I've loved them ever since college (EIU). Â I love the bread, the coco chop cookies, and the chips. Â I don't think the have jalapeno chips anymore but that is ok. Â Can't be it.. Â The place was just like any other. Â Great food, great service, and great location.
Review Source:What are all the rave reviews about? Jimmy John's sucks. Â Turkey sub doesn't come with cheese even though other sandwiches that cost the same and have identical ingredients (except for the meat) does come with cheese. Â Did I say meat? Â Where? Â I felt like I was eating a bread sandwich, and I don't even like a lot of meat on my sandwiches. Â And their bread. Â It's Wonder bread made into a sub. Â The place sucks. Â I won't be going back again.
Review Source:I love me some Jimmy John's.  I went to this location the day that JJ's had $1 subs.  They were able to move the line quickly. I don't usually review chains like this, but the staff was so efficient that I wanted to complement  them. Compared to the other big sub chains, JJ's meat seems much fresher and not processed. They tout how quick they are in commercials. A great place for lunch in a pinch.
Review Source:Online ordering AND delivery of ONE sandwich for lunch?! BRILLIANT!
When it's sweltering and nauseatingly hot outside, I sometimes don't eat (or don't go out) because I'm too delicate to be beaten by the cruel, cruel sun. I just can't stand it.
Today, I ordered my sandwich online. Quick and easy! There are also vegetable choices here (cucumber, sprouts) that I never think of getting in the store (where I often have to repeat my order four times and forget stuff).
I swear my sandwich got to me in ten minutes. No apparently delivery fee - how do they do this? And the delivery guy was adorable.
Hey Subway! Yeah, you know which one you are! Pay very close attention!
Fast and efficent service
Friendly staff
Fine sandwich bread and ingredients
Clean shop
No sketchy day-to-day price fluctuations
These are just a few of the reasons why Jimmy Johns is better than the Subway it's across the street from. This is an extremely well-run joint, and I'll continue to venture here often.
This is an excellent and well run JJs, but i think Leah is right - never would have guessed this was a Jefferson address, since it is on Lake St.
Sandwiches are always as expected: speedy. One time they were low on tuna and it was going to be about 4 minutes for them to whip up a new batch, which was no big deal to me, but they gave me comp chips anyways. Â Mmmm, complementary crunchiness..
The place is really clean and the staff are friendly.
Quick, quick, quick! Sandwiches at this JJ take only a couple of minutes even at the busiest times. The gang behind the counter always have a smile and are ready to rock your sandwich right up!
The sandwiches are just like JJ's anywhere else - fresh ingredients on fresh bread. Way better than the Subway across the street. I really like that they have the low calorie Lemonade in the soda fountain!
The only negative thing about this JJ's is that there aren't nearly enough seats in the place for the lunch rush. And there's no parking, but if you're taking it to go, that's not really a problem because the service is so very fast that you can jump in and jump out before they have a chance to write your ticket!
Jimmy John's is a Jimmy John's is a Jimmy John's. This is your typical location with the red and black interior. I've had mixed experiences here. Sometimes, I get my sandwich quickly and made correctly. Other times, I've dealt with attitude from employees and once had my sandwich remade three times because she put meat on it once and then seconds later used a different bread than requested. I didn't realize it was too hard to make a #13 with whole wheat bread. Overall, it's a decent, clean location with loud music blasting sometimes like today.
Review Source:Only with Jimmy John's can I be sitting at my desk craving a sandwich, then six minutes later, be eating one of their sandwiches at my desk.
The people at this particular location are fast and friendly, and the subs taste like all the other Jimmy John's out there. Â Not much more you could ask for.
