On rare occasions, I get sandwiches from here. It's rare because they close early on weekdays and aren't open on weekends. If they were open on weekends, the residents in the area would have a trifecta of sandwich choices: Subway, Quiznos, and Jimmy John's. So, I usually have a small window of opportunity to catch a sandwich here. Unfortunately, my Quizno's cravings are never fully realized here. I've tried and tried to like this Quizno's and I just can't. In the past two weeks, I've been lucky enough to eat here when it's open. Both times have been disappointing. The sandwiches are your average fare and generally pretty tasty. I tried the flatbread sammies last night and they're a good version of the bigger sandwiches while being surprisingly filling. My biggest issue with this place is the customer service. Whenever I'm in there, I'm made to feel like I'm cutting in on their socializing. Seriously, customers are treated like crap and just impediments to their loud and constant kvetching. I've never heard so much loud socializing in one sandwich shop before. They could care less if the customer is around. Also, there's a general malaise going on here where it takes a long time to get a simple sandwich made. I can't even imagine what this place is like during the lunch hour with all of the CTA employees in here. Overall, it's a well below average Quizno's that narrowly gets stars because the sandwiches are good, definitely not the customer service.
