For a brief moment in time, my office was one block outside of the delivery zone for this location. It was a bummer. Every now and then, they'd let us slip through the cracks and allow delivery, with us tipping handsomely for the trouble. Now it appears we're back in the zone, and we still tip handsomely.
Everyone who works here is really awesome. We've never had any trouble with incorrect orders, and our sandwiches arrive lightning fast, even when its rainy or temps are in the negative. We totally appreciate it, dudes. You're the best!
Ok, let me start by saying I was ordering reluctantly because generally I think Jimmy John's product is low quality crap. (which accounts for two missing stars) Follow that with my bosses used to have them deliver quite frequently, and about 60% of the time something was screwed up. Â
But the thing to note is that this location has delivered to our address probably 100 times. It is four blocks away.
So I'm starving, in a hurry, and locked to my computer. Â Jimmy John's was the answer. Â I place an order and about 5 minutes later (which is usually how long it used to take for them to deliver) he calls back and tells me that I am out of their delivery area. Â we are 1639 Ferdinand, they stop at 1600. Â Now. Â They used to, but they don't now. Â Despite the fact that the amount of time I was on the phone with them was far longer than it would have taken a rider to get back and forth.
The geographically impaired manager even tried to give me the phone numbers of stores that were three and four times further away than this one. "Maybe they will deliver to you."
So now I am hungry, and angry, and without a crappy sandwich.
