Best polishes I've ever eaten an gosh I just love there smushy fries! the polish so juicy & flavorful compliments the deliciously flavored fries that smush so perfectly together with that unique taste!.Although I feel the area isn't the safest & the food is a bit over priced its totally worth it. The food does not disappoint!

Straight old school.  This is what Chicago is all about - Dogs, Polishes, and Fries.

I'd have to say that the fries I got from Jimmy's were among the best I've ever eaten.  How to describe them... the fries are cut fresh, and then seem to be smushed in a way so they're kind of stuck together, and come out of the fryer totally crispy and delicious - perfectly seasoned, and a fantastic pairing with their hot sauce.  They're almost like a hash-brown / fry hybrid - amazing.

The dog and polish were both pretty standard; and by standard I mean no surprises, and no disappointments.  Just a straight up tasty vienna beef meat cylinder on a bun with the expected fixings.  You know what to expect.

I enjoyed everything about this place - the location, the aura, the frantic kitchen, and of course, the food.

there is nothing like jimmys hot dogs in the  city, where is chicagos best ted brunson.......... great  service ..................... love jimmmmmmys
