Joe's Tavern & Catering

We have loved Joe's for years, and for a period of time we were there pretty much every Friday night. The atmosphere is cheesy old Polish bar, Notre Dame fan friendly, and home town comfortable; it's a great place to relax and have a beer, hang out, and eat. But something has changed. There's been some turnover in personnel, and the food and service are not at all up to snuff anymore. They had the best fish and the best pierogies around, but after our last three visits, we decided that we're done. Maybe we'll pop by in six months to see if they've gotten back on track.

I love this place ! The people are lovely lovely lovely very welcoming  -the  food is fantastic American and if cooked by Mom is the best in the world - Brian does a fine job too ! Go relax let your hair down have a great night -and be grateful for the simple things done well !
