The food is pretty darn good!  The first time I went to bowl (hadn't in 20 years) and ordered a pizza and some appitizers.  Very good.  Since then, I've gone just for the food.  I particularly like the daily/weekly specials.  The last time I ordered the Gumbo and Corn Fritters.  I was with a buddy, not very hungry, so we decided to share i order of each.  The portions were so large we could have easily fed a third and maybe a fourth person.  The staff is always very attentive and prices are extremely fair.  I can't wait to go back.

The service here is TERRIBLE. There was no one waiting when I arrived with my friends, yet it still took 20+ minutes to pay for our lane. We had to wait another 20+ minutes for the lane to become available, even though it was wide open when we arrived. I had to wait for drinks (no surprise there) at the bar, although in hind site, that was the most pleasurable part of my evening. Our server tried to double charge us for pitchers at the lane and refused to listen when we explained his error. We ended up paying for twice as many pitchers as we ordered on top of the $20 for 2 games of bowling + shoes. You couldn't pay me to come back here - I'd rather throw my money in the trash.

Yeah, it's a bowling alley. So what? The place is new and clean. The staff is friendly and attentive. The bar area makes for a good hang-out. And I was shocked to find that the food was good. It's about as upscale as you can get while bowling.

My family and I have been coming here for the past 3 years.....we love it! Our daughter's birthday falls in November, and we invite our family friends to join us for an afternoon of drinks, food, and bowling. The kids play in the arcade, and the adults get great beverage service from the staff. This past November my husband reserved the lanes for 2 pm, and we were taken to the lanes @ 1:55. We are always treated w/  respect by the staff and management. We will continue to make this a birthday tradition!

Great concept...after 10pm 2 rounds are free with purchase of shoes. Of course you pay up when you order drinks but it still makes you feel like you have gotten a deal.
Good atmosphere, nice servers, and who doesn't like to bowl???
Looking forward to imbibing and bowling in the near future.

We ended up trying this place out after having dinner at Maxwell's the night before.  My wife and I thought it would be fun for our kids after a day of skiing.  What we thought would be an OK night of doing something different turned into a ton of fun that both the kids and mom and dad loved.  This place is much more than your typical bowling alley.  Sure it has plenty of lanes but they are all top notch and have huge (not just big) screen TVs over all of them.  They also have very comfy couches instead of chairs to sit in and the food is not your typical bowling alley fare.  The food is a nice change from the typical bowling alley fare and offers anything from pizzas to nachos to burgers to shrimp.  They also have an arcade, pool tables and a large center bar.  Prices are a bit on the high side but you definitely get what you pay for.  The day after we tried this place out we were skiing at PCMR and all my kids could talk about was Jupiter Bowl and how they wanted to go back again.  And we did!  Two nights in a row.  I wish we had something like this back in Scottsdale.

Kids want to go bowling....so here we are at Jupiter Bowl. You will find it in the Redstone/Newpark area of Park City, it's a good option after skiing or any time really.

On entry you will see pool tables and numerous tables and a bar, quite deceptive. Think Tardis all you fans of Doctor Who!

We just wanted to bowl so we ignored the arcade and went straight to the counter. Even at 4-00 on a Thursday it is busy so our greeter apologetically said we had to play in the small room. $46 for 2 games and 4 pairs of lovely shoes.

I guess that it's a private party room on occasion, because there are only four lanes, nice bar, tv's  and comfy pleather sofas. There is waitress service and we snacked on chicken nachos and boneless wings which were good. There is an extensive menu and dining area plus full bar if knives and forks are preferable to snacking .

I liked our "small" room and will be in no hurry to bowl in the big room due to my severe lack of prowess with a large colored ball.

Anyway we bowled in the 70's and left with heads held not too high! We will be back!

Nice bowling lanes.  Decent food.  Service was very prompt.  Fun place to spend a couple of hours indoors in Park City.

We went to Jupiter Bowl while visiting Park City during the Sundance Film Festival.  We have been several times before, sometimes with kids and sometimes adults-only.

We knew to reserve our lanes well in advance and for a not-too-late time slot of 7:30pm.  Our lanes were ready and waiting for us when we arrived.

The menu has a great cocktail selection (even has the yummy "cake" vodka.  After several visits, my favorite thing on the whole menu is the sweet potato fries and aioli sauce.  The kids love the pizzas which are pretty good.  Another good choice is the fish tacos.

The entire wall above the bowling lanes is made up of video screens and the music is modern/pop. The videos can get kinda risky later in the evening.  When we do take the kids, they don't really notice, but if you only had one or two smaller children, it might be an issue.

This is a very entertaining place for an evening out as a family or adults-only. It is for age 21 and over after 10pm.

Service is not their specialty. You sometimes have to be patient with young waitstaff, but it isn't terrible and you usually get what you order. :-)

Disgraceful.  On a busy day, the staff took our reservation and told us we would be able to bowl in four hours.  We returned three hours later, and when we checked our status we were brusquely informed that our time had come and gone.  The (assistant?) manager proceeded to lie to our face, saying the pager we'd been issued had been accompanied by advice to stay on premises for the entire scheduled wait time.  Needless to say, nothing of the sort had been said to us, and it is rather absurd to expect that anyone would infer a need to stick around a bowling alley for four hours.  Manager made zero effort to make the situation good.

My advice: don't come here if you actually expect to be able to bowl, or to be treated with the ordinary respect a patron is due from a service provider.

Posh bowling is how I describe this place. A step above other bowling alleys in the following ways:
Their restaurant is a step above any other bowling alley.
The service in this place was phenomenal.
The TVs were nice, and the AV set-up all around was pretty cool, with sports and other things to watch while you hang out with friends.

After 10 pm is ages 21+, so remember your ID!!!

I haven't been posting much lately because the Hubby and I have been saving diligently as we're buying a house.  It's quite a process and after we received the news today that our closing scheduled Monday, November 21st may be pushed off another 30 days(!), so we decided we were going to splurge.  On comfort food.  Being that we both work in Park City and need to stay close to our jobs, we decided to go somewhere nearby.  The Hubby suggested Jupiter Bowl.  "What?  The bowling alley?"  Yup.  That's the place.  And it didn't take too much to  convince me to check it out, just a glance at the menu and I knew I wanted to see what they offered.

    The Bar
This is not your average bowling alley.  It was obviously designed to be one of the main nightlife attractions (along with Maxwell's) of the "Newpark town center" .  I put that in quotations because although it was built to compliment the near-by Redstone Shopping Center, it is mostly empty.  Blame it on the economy - it was built around the 2006 boom in Utah and fizzled out right after the completion of the hotel, the aforementioned Maxwell's and Jupiter Bowl, and just a couple shops, restaurants, and corporate offices.

As a night-life destination, Jupiter Bowl has a fantastic bar set-up in addition to the bowling lanes.  The cocktail menu - robust with high-end liquor combinations and beer - was tempting, but we had to pass it up this time around because we were planning to return to work afterwards.

The restaurant portion, which will also serve the bowling lanes area, is called "The Lift Grill and Lounge".  I loved the atmosphere here - very 70s lounge-y.  We were all alone for lunch, although the servers were rushing orders to the busy lanes right outside of the lounge.

I came with a clear plan.  The Hubby was going to have the Chick & Mac, "Buttermilk fried chicken served over creamy aged white cheddar, scallions, tomato, jalapeno mac" and I was going to order the "Oink", a burger with "Crispy bacon, braised pork belly, prosciutto, fontina, tomato balsamic ketchup".  Unfortunately, my plan was half-foiled as the "Oink" that I saw on their website turned out not to be on the menu.  In a rush, I ordered the Bombay burger instead, boasting "6oz Turkey burger, red curry glaze, mango chutney, cucumber yogurt sauce" with a side of fried green beans.  Let me mention here that the service was extremely quick and friendly, which contributed to my rash decision.  Not a bad thing, but the excuse I'm using.

    Bombay Burger
Let's start with my burger.  With a name like Bombay, I was expecting Indian flavors.  I was a bit disappointed when I tasted the curry.  It had a strong coconut flavor which tastes much more Thai than Indian.  The chutney is in quotations on the menu - it's because it isn't chutney.  It's a pineapple-y salsa.  Not bad, and all of the ingredients were extremely fresh, but when you expect a spicy/savory Indian flavor it will surprise you.  Two bigger disappointments were that the turkey burger patty was bland and the bun squished down into a little bun-pancake after a while of holding the thing.  The bolder flavors of the curry and the "chutney" compensated for the blandness of the patty, but nothing could save that sad bun.   The fried green beans were served with ranch and were delicious - again, very fresh and fried in a light tempura batter - I loved these.

    Chick & Mac
The clear winner of this meal was the Chick & Mac.  The macaroni and cheese was perfect - cheesy, gooey, and spicy with perfectly cooked pasta - Oh Yeah!  The scallions provided a slight crunch.  The chicken was the main reason why we ordered this, but it was a non-entity.  While the Mac&Cheese aspect was bangin', the chicken was a let down.  We expected more of a fried chicken (think Popeye's-esque ecstasy) and instead we got more of a chicken nugget taste.  They tasted good, those little fried chicken breast nuggets, but not what we expected.  Still, the Mac&Cheese redeemed the entire thing.  This will get ordered again.

The verdict is that we'll return for the inventive flavors, the fish tacos that also caught my eye on the menu (Mahi-Mahi, seasoned cabbage, pico de gallo, guacamole, cilantro lime crema served with sweet potato fries), and some high-end bowling and getting drunk-ness.  Oh, I see some fun nights ahead!

Alright, fancy bowling isn't actually a revolutionary idea anymore. For most people if you live in a relatively large town you probably have a bowling alley just like this. That being said, the atmosphere is very similar to other bowling alley chains out there and it's fun. The fact that this place is in Park City is probably what is the most shocking.

What is a revolutionary idea is to get their act together when it comes to service. I have tried to patronize this establishment many times with varied outcomes. In all of these attempts, i think I succeeded maybe twice in actually getting to bowl. They problem is, if you try to come in during a time of the season that's relatively busy you are guaranteed a wait. That's fine, but they need to find a system that works to manage this.

On one occasion I called about a reservation. I was told they didn't take reservations, but there was no wait at the moment. We rushed over to find there was a 2 hour wait. Next time I called, I was informed they did take reservations, but were booked, followed by another attempt where you could actually book a reservation online but it wasn't working. All in all, I have always ended up waiting 2 hours or more no matter what  I've tried to do. In addition every time I've been informed about the wait I always felt like the 16-year-old teenager behind the counter somehow got satisfaction out of telling me. Ugh. So Frustrating.

I would definitely come here more often if they figured out their reservation system! Either take them or don't, but make it clear which one it is! Other downsides - mediocre food and expensive drinks!

Total blast.  Went here for a company function.  We rented the private bowling lanes.  Great food.  Great drink menu.  Fun atmosphere.

This is not your old school bowling alley - very state of the art with the big screens in the background and the electronic scoring.

Food was fabulous - everything from white chicken chili to caprese salad and pizzas.

You are sure to have a good time there!

I could understand why the people of Park City dig this place!

Jupiter Bowl, from the outside doesn't look too extravagant, very cut and dry, doors with a small patio area. However, once you open the doors, you're stepping into the world of bowling, arcade games, beer and martinis and a bounty of delicious food!  It even has a separate "club" area where you can fine dine and spend a little more time getting drunk rather than bowl.  I was surprised at the diversity of age groups that gathered here and it just seemed like the place to be! Kid friendly, but grown-up fun!

The games at the arcade were new, up-to-date games and were swarming with kids ages 11-17. I played a few games of dance dance revolution myself (shhh...).

The bar: the best part, for a youngin' my age. Huge fan!  Had an assortment of mixed drinks and beverages. I was most excited that they carried my personal favorite beer : Stella Artois. Great prices on the beers.

The food: was good for the most part, however the prices were a little uneasy but when you're hungry, its a small issue.

I am a California native, so I won't be able to say I'll be back, but i do have to say this is the coolest bowling establishment I've ever been to and i highly suggest it :)

This is seriously the nicest bowling alley I have ever been to! Cool mid-century modern decor, super clean, nice staff, fancy snacks and a full bar. Couldn't ask for more!

Tuesday is one of the best days of the week.  You know why? Because you can get the drive thru buger with an order of fries for $3!!!  YES!

Great atmosphere.  Good food.  INSANE PRICE.

RUN DON'T WALK to JUPITER BOWL ON TUESDAY!

Wow, this is the best bowling ally I've EVER been to!  I'm really just used to the old ones where most of the coloring inside is brown and the bowling balls have worse scars than the musician Seal has on his face.  Yaaa, that bad!

Anyways, Jupiter bowl seems pretty new and was really quite refreshing.  Went during mid-day so I don't know what it is like at night but I'm sure if I lived in Park City, this would be a weekly spot for me.  Games were cheap and so were the beers.  I enjoyed it!

I recently had a child's 9th birthday at Jupiter Bowl.  This upscale bowling alley is new, clean, and has an attentive & organized staff.  For birthdays, you can choose from several all-inclusive packages. The lanes have electronic scoring via television monitors over each lane.  The seating (couches) are comfortable and lounge-like.  For those not into bowling, there is an arcade, pool tables, Big Screen TV's, and more lounge chairs and sofas.  There are two bars that serve everything (hard alcohol, wine & beer).  The food is what you would expect at a bowling alley -- nothing great, but the attentive service makes it taste better + the ability to have a grey-goose cocktail if you so desire.  Very nice addition to Park City!!!!

The food at Jupiter Bowl is probably the most under-rated and some of the best you'll find anywhere.  The menu is comfortable yet upscale, and there's almost never a crowd in the dining room.  Service can be a bit slow, but the food is truly excellent with incredibly fresh, quality ingredients.  Everything, sauces, etc. looks to be made from scratch.

Their pizzas are awesome.  Fish tacos best in Park City if not among the best I've had.  Lots of variety with lobster corn dogs, good salads, awesome burger.  The prices are not as high as your typical Park City place, but they may seem high to some people for the "bowling alley".  It's definitely worth it, and once you step in Jupiter Bowl you'll know this isn't your ordinary bowling alley.

The kids menu is a killer deal and the chicken fingers are freshly made and among the best you'll ever taste.

Jupiter Bowl is a great new addition to the rapidly growing entertainment complex at Newpark and Redstone in Kimball's Junction outside Park City. While, yes, it's a super modern bowling center, it also has a fantastic restaurant offering really reasonably priced meals and great menu diversity.

We did a table of four recently, with a pizza, two different burgers and a main course. All four were perfect! Get this: just $7.00 for a third-pound cheeseburger with fries. There is no regular restaurant or brew pub in Park City offering that low a price. The meat blend, homemade sauce and bun were outstanding. And the balsamic ketchup was also a great touch.

Service was great. We were greeted by a really friendly hostess and seated right away. Drink orders were taken within a minute or two and food service appropriately timed.

Great selection of beers on tap and in bottle, and a surprisingly good wine by the glass menu for an "entertainment center" restaurant.

The bill for the table came to around $75 for four people with drinks plus a table appetizer - under $20 per person. Bowling isn't quite as cheap, though. We didn't bowl on this trip but it's an extraordinary setup and looks to be worth it.

Whether you're bowling or night, I highly recommend a stop in the Jupiter Bowl restaurant as another alternative to Maxwells and Red Rock.

id give this place negative stars if i could, ive been there a few times, and its all around terrible. for starters, there food is awful and overpriced, i think the kitchen staff mixed up there sugar and salt bins, cuz everything is overly sweet. there staff is very rude and act like the customers owe them something. i dont think ive ever seen one employee w a smile on there face.... word on the street is the place is financed by a few rich guys, who obviously have no experience, and/or clue about running a customer service oriented business... and im going to enjoy watching this dump of a place bleed all of them slowly... at the end of the day it still is just a bowling alley... so lose the attitude jupiter bowl...cuz youre not even doing that right...

A wonderful choice for situations when peoples names are important.  It was easy to read names off the screen when that person was up to bowl.

We used the private room for a wedding party meet and greet.  The food was good and the DJ was rockin.
    I would definitely go back.

Very retro cool bowling alley with reasonably priced food and drinks.  While a little pricey for bowling it's pretty reasonable for a night out with good music, comfy couches, a hip bar and interactive entertainment for a family or friends. Be prepared for lots of families and children if you go during the day.

hey... we needed this place and it is a very nice and upscale spot... however it could be more family friendly with less provocative MTV videos during family time... I love to rock out as much as the other person, but after about 1 hour of the very loud videos many of my friends had "sensory overload..." and we went some where else to eat... my buddies were 20 & 30 somethings and were the ones to suggest going elsewhere... Again, late night and rowdy crowds are OK, but during the day and from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm I suggest PG rated music videos & less THUMP? also a bit pricey we will still go to Heber for family style bowling with less THUMP & great burgers

Jupiter Bowl is just now opening... It has several bowling lanes, more HD LCD TV's than Best Buy, a bar, a restaurant, an arcade, pool tables, plenty of seating, and a private 4 lane bowling area. It's open late and address a serious need in the Park City Community.

I am very impressed with this place - a real high end bowling alley and entertainment center.

It's open late - come check it out!
