This is just for the take-out fried gizzards we ordered (Safeway has had a gizzards dry spell for ages now, and we were freaking out).

Good news: they are apparently readily available and orderable @ later hours, and the same price as Safeway ($4.99-lb). They are evenly breaded to hide their hideous true nature.

Less-good news: the breading is really thick, gritty and crunchy (I prefer a thinner & chewier coating of batter), with maybe a little too much seasoning in the mix. I don't like the breading competing with the gristly, meaty texture of the gizzards.

But yay for these guys providing us with a backup for our giblets cravings! Now if only they would ease up on the batter & add livers to their menu, we could give Safeway the finger and rely on Just Left.

I went here because the reviews seemed generally decent.  Going out on a Tuesday night I was more interested in eating a meal than getting drunk.

    Highlights:
    good TV
good service at the bar (sat there)
lots of activities (darts, arcades, pulltabs, etc)
    burger

    Lowlights:
Greasy food in general (burger was simple and decent)
Onion rings were terrible (tasted like fish from old fry grease)
Potato skins were GREASY and very soggy

I will go back and give it another shot... but I won't order any fried food out of fear that it will taste like whatever is stuck on the bottom.  Also, probably better as a place to get drunk/watch a game then have a meal.

Happy Hour is the best! My wife and Bre go here very often. The atomsphere is cool and laid back and the drinks are priced so low. Its hard to know this spot.

I love dive bars, just not this one. It's across the street from the old Daverthumps which I think is now 44th Pub. We stumbled in during a hawks game, which one would assume would be a friendly atmosphere.....not so much. Everyone just stared at us including the bartender. By stare, I mean we got the stank eye. However, this wasn't going to stop us from getting a shot. We ordered our shots and got the hell out of there. The irony of it being called "just left' is comical. If you're in that area, stick to 44th Pub.

Ok, so let's start with the stars. I give two stars for the burger; Bacon blue to be exact, but I'm boosting it to three for the nachos and other menu items. I think it has potential.
While it was good, along with the serrated cut fries, it could have been better. I would have liked that the mayo cover to top bun and there could have been more blue cheese on the bun.
I was also reeling from the crunchy goodness of the nachos. The chicken, moist and full of flavor covered the top. I was most surprised that they layered the cheese and chicken. Chunky salsa and mild jalapenos joined this tasty treat. Oh, did I mention how thick and crispy the chips were?
I mentioned the menu and I'd like to go back and try their breakfast(served all day). I'm intrigued by the homemade gravy for the biscuits and CFS
    It's worth a 2nd chance.

Decent local pub. Awesome outdoor area with horseshoes. Inside has darts (4 or 5 boards), pool, and various video games (including ski ball and pinball). All the bartenders are friendly and know their stuff. Nice local hangout ;-)

Went here a couple times just for a drink. It's nice to sit out back and through the shoes around with your friends on a nice day. Haven't seen it too crowded. They aren't in much of a hurry behind the bar, but drinks are reasonably priced. Good for darts, karaoke, arcade, horseshoes, or just throwing back a couple.

Cheap drinks, friendly wait staff. Typical lynn-hood rifraf if you show up late enough at night on the weekends.

Other than that, a good ol' local watering hole.

I came here for years; used to like it. It was a casual place to hang out, get a beer, a snack, friendly service and pitch some horseshoes.

My last two experiences there tell me to stay away. Second to last visit I waited 20 minutes to get service which never came so I left. There were four of us at our table and they were unable to come out from behind the bar to our table to serve us; they served others, not us.

The last time there I ordered a LI Iced Tea. As I watched the bartender pour it, it didn't add up. I went out back, took a sip, it was no LIIT. My friend I was there with took a sip and confirmed it was lame-all coke and sweet and sour. I and my friend should know as I drink them as my first drink and she is a bartender. When I brought the drink inside and let them know the bartender rolled her eyes at me and told the other bartender to pour a new one.

First, she made no appology for obviously not knowing how to make a LIIT but making a crummy one instead, and secondly the contempt she showed was out of line.

I just left and don't have plans on comming back.

Man, I wanted to give this place more stars.

While it's true that they have horseshoe pits in the back and they have a good beer selection, the service and inviting ambience hasn't been quite up to snuff.  The last time I went in there was with a coworker on our lunch break.  We were 2 of maybe 10 other people there at the max. and it took forever. Forever to take our order, forever to get our food, forever to get our bill.

Do not go there if you have a time constraint.  It seems like they have one speed.

Up the service factor and renew the menu and I might be back.

Just your typical neighborhood sports bar. I went some friends there on a Saturday night. It wasn't busy at all, probably due to the location.

The inside was decorated with the usual sports memorabilia. They also had a couple of pool tables and dart boards. And apparently people still play Golden Tee since I saw 3 of those video game machines inside. There a bunch of TVs at various corners of the bar. Also included was a vending machine serving packets of heart attack (chips), lung cancer (cigarettes), and diabetes (candy). On the plus side they have a horse shoe pit in the back but it was closed.

They have a small selection of liquors and beers.  Nothing out of the ordinary.  But what they did have was reasonably priced.

I didn't find anything else special about the place, customers, or staff. The place does have potential though. I gave it 3 stars because of the horse shoe pits.

This more of a 3.5 review. This is your average suburban sports bar. Lot a Golden Tee, Dart Boards and a Pool Table. I was told there are Horseshoe Pits out back, but they were closed for the season. The drinks are reasonably priced with good specials. They had a few TVs, but I have a complaint with that... the Olympics were on and only one TV had them on. They had a fun Juke Box with a good selection of 80s Butt Rock and Hip Hop.

No the best bar in the world, but pretty fun if you are looking for beer and sports.

    Last visit September 15, 2009
This is a favorite place to unwind on Friday after work.
Just enjoyed 'Taco Tuesday' here for the first time.  $1.00 hard shell tacos  were very fresh and tasty.  Excellent customer service, as always.
    from our regular server, Jody.
There are food and drink specials each day of the week.
**be careful of the HUGE potholes at the far end of the parking lot**

Owner and his wife runs the bar, and they made for good conversation. They have new arcade games and great food. They also have an outdoor area that's fenced in and I really enjoy. I believe it's a place to have lunch or dinner and a casual drink. Not an out-of-control place or anything. The food was pretty good too.

Some of my coworkers and myself decided a lunch at the bar was a good idea on a hot, sunny, summer day. What better place then Just Left with their outdoor "beach" setting. This place had a reputation in our work department as having good drinks and fast service. After we got them to let us in the back (it was locked), it all went down hill.

The beach area was pretty standard, I guess. Horseshoes, lots of little tables and umbrellas, a ton of cigarettes and god knows what else mixed in with the sand. We didn't eat anything, opting for a liquid lunch instead. One of the bar waitresses came out back to take our order, we all settled in and waited. And waited. And waited. About 20-25 minutes later she came out with two large trays of drinks, half of which weren't ordered at all, and missing at least 10 more drinks. She went back in, flustered, and then we waited and waited and waited some more. By this time, 35-40 minutes into us being there, most of us just started going into the bar (inside) to get our drinks. When she came out (still missing several drinks), she informed us that she's not coming out to serve us anymore and that we're going to have to come in to get any and all drinks from now on. Maybe I could understand if they were super busy inside and just couldn't have someone running back and forth.. but that wasn't the case. There were 2-3 people total inside, and 3-4 people working.

And after we finally got our drinks? They were awful. I ordered a simple drink (rum & coke, vodka & juice, along those lines) and there was NO alcohol in it. I ended up buying three drinks in the 1.5 hours I was there and the only thing that had any liquor in it was the shot I ordered (served in an awful pre-made beer shot cup that was so big I spilled half of the shot down my shirt).

    Pros:
    - it's a bar?
    - they have an outdoor area
    Cons:
    - the drinks are super, super weak
    - the service was TERRIBLE
    - the outdoor area was disgusting, I couldn't even walk in the sand without getting cigarette butts in my shoes

This place just left a bad taste in my mouth. The only reason I'm not giving it one star is because I feel like I may not have given it a fair chance (first impressions aren't always the best). However, I absolutely will not be going back to test that theory.

Ok first off i know the location of this place might throw you off, but FIND IT! its worth it.  I go here in the afternoons and get some lunch sometimes when i have to pick up my girlfriend from work, and this place has the best bar food i've ever eaten!  Dont know what to get? The have daily specials every day a new food to try for like $6.50 bada$$!

Ive never had a problem getting sauced at this place, they're not stingy with their booze LOL
Their pulltab selection is really good and always changing too.

all and all 5 stars, its all i could ask for in a local bar.

Great little local bar I say local but yet I drive 5 miles to get to it. The clientele is locals, nearby hotel patrons, blue collar, white collar, and no collar. I hate loud music and pretentious folk, frat boys and their ilk. I love getting to know authentic locals with no itineraries.  The food is pretty good too I got a burger and fries on multiple occasions. The owner is very friendly and the layout is spacious. There is a huge beer garden with horseshoes and volleyball. Also the largest collection of golf games in the county. The place has been in newspaper clippings many at time for the links competition.
