Kazzbarr

It's a dive bar.  The owner's always drunk and giving the bartenders a hard time and sometimes smoking cigs despite the ban.  The blue collar crowd can get a little rowdy and the punching bag game was removed because it was starting fights.

All that being said, I frequent this bar quite a bit. Woa woa woa, what?  So why did I only give it two stars?  Well, for all of the above reasons.  

But why do I come here?

First, it's a block away and the drunk owner is pretty nice to the patrons and he lets my dog hang out with me.  Second, the bouncer is a friend and the bartenders are very cool.  Third, the selection doesn't matter if I'm only interested in a shot of whiskey and a diet coke.  Last, I prefer the rough blue collar crowd to the young hipsters any day.

There's a pretty good selection on the jukebox, a pool table, and a dart board.  No need to dress up.

Well this has been a regular hang out for us. Many a times we've gone here for the pitchers and a bunch of shots. The owner is really cool. But this is the dive compared to the other bars on Madison street. The jukebox has an awesome selection and the crowd is generally pretty easy going.
I was just here this past weekend. A good friend's nephew was turning 21. So each of made sure he was well taken care of. The beers were flowing the and shots came out in full force. Unfortunately poor boy was cut off at like 12:30, and he was passing out on the bar. The group just tried to make sure he wasn't causing too much a scene.
We will definitely make it back out there. Hopefully when the weather isn't too crazy.

Eh.  There was a time in my life where I spent a lot of time at Kazz and I can't say I ever had a bad time.  However, it is a crazy little dive bar and the patrons are a mixed bag.  Luckily (well, for better or worse), I was a regular for a time, so no-one ever gave me a lot of trouble, but ladies watch out.  Some guys seem to think that this is a meat market when all you really want is a cheap draft beer.

I will say that the jukebox rules and the punching game that is/was there is super fun, especially when the boys decide to be a little rowdy.
