Keagan's Irish Pub and Restaurant

My fiance, sister in law and I ate here last night. I have eaten here once before and received great service and great food so I was excited to go back. Walking in, I definitely smelled smoke which is disgusting in a restaurant (IMO). We sat ourselves as the sign said and it took our waitress several minutes to come to us. My fiance went to the restroom so I ordered his water while he was gone. When the waitress came back she forgot his water. And then said "oh do you need menus?" Um, yes, that would be nice. So 10 minutes later she brings our menus and his water, walks away, 10 minutes later comes back where my fiance ordered a beer. He asked if she had any porters on tap. She said no but said they have a good bottled one. She took our app order and left. 10 minutes later she comes back to take our food order, which she didn't write down. After she does and leaves she comes back about 10 minutes later with our app and I have to remind her that my fiance ordered a beer. She brings it to him and he asked me to look it up. Neither one of us drink a lot of beer and he was curious since he was told it was a porter but it looked more like an ale, and sure enough it was. Bummed but not enough to ask for another since we figured it would be at least another 10 minutes to get it. When we finally get our food, the order is wrong. My SIL didn't receive her pretzel bun she ordered and my burger seemed more well than I asked. I also realized I didn't receive my soup I ordered but at that point, again, didn't want to wait any longer. When the waitress finally brought the right bun (that was the entire reason my SIL ordered a burger) she bit into the burger and it was medium not well done as she ordered. I know people who order well done order it because they can't stand the thought of pink meat and she immediately felt sick. We realized our patties must have been switched so we switched them the correct way. We told the waitress and she said she was sorry and asked if we wanted new burgers but at this point we had been there so long we had just wanted to go. When the waitress brought us the bill, there was no change to the normal pricing for her several mistakes so we spoke to the manager who was great. He took off both burgers and gave us a coupon for BOGO entrees. Now I could have understood some of these mistakes and the time wait if the place was packed. But it was dead. I was a waitress for 10 years in a packed beach town and so I know how it can be but there was NO reason for the multitude of mistakes. Write down your tickets! No one will be offended! I'd rather you write it down and get it right than experience the many mistakes and if you work in a pub KNOW YOUR BEERS.  Service aside from the manager, was awful, the waitress was Melanie so avoid her if you can. We will probably head back one more time to redeem the coupon but will just stick to Park Lane from now on.

Well this place is full of smoke, HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE service, I sat at a table for a little over an hour and no bartender came over to greet me, take my order, or anything.  The place is always dead inside I don't know what that's about.  This place is more of a mortuary than a Pub.  Though the place has pub in the title.  I don't think I'll be returning.

Honestly I don't mind dives but this place was horrid! But the worst part of the whole experience was my server. Her name tag said Kim and she was terribly rude and seemed to have a personal hygiene problem. I would not recommend this place to anyone, ever.
