3 Stars for the Chicken..
0 stars for the terrible, rude employee at
the register...
Okay.. yes, this is the Thompson Center and it gets hectic..
And this is a pretty big food court with many options of
food to choose from..
And..I have been craving this chicken for so long so since
I was in the building I thought.. this is so cool..
I can get my chicken fix finally!
Okay.. so this is a K.F.C. Express.. it is like a cafeteria, you get a tray
and  pick your selections..
And.. this worked out just fine..
But.. K.F.C. your employee at the register was downright rude to
the guy in front of me.. especially when at the last minute he asked if he
could add an order of Macaroni and Cheese on to his order..
Well.. this Rude as Hell Cashier rolled her eyes at this poor guy..
Even after he apologized to her for forgetting initially!
She was pretty rude to me too.. And..I always say please and
Thank You to everyone.. My Mother raised me right!
I thought her name would have been on my receipt and Boy.. was
I going to blast her for her terrible customer service..
But.. alas, her name is not on my receipt..maybe a good thing because
I dont think she would win any awards for her job performance
regarding Customer Service!
P.S. to K.F.C... there are about 15 other restaurant choices
in the food court..
If you would like your customers to return and spend their money
at your restaurant maybe you should invest in re-training some
of your employees..
God..I wish I asked for her name..
But.. I would recommend Charm School for her for sure..
Good Chicken.. A Super Rude Cashier..
Not a good mix K.F.C...
I really like KFC, I always have been to this one twice, so it is not just a bad day that is was so terrible.
I got there at quarter to 12 after getting a new id at the dmv, and I think I was the first person there. The chicken was cold and tasted reheated. The soda tasted funny, I should not have given into the lure of tasty fried chicken as I think I know better. Avoid this KFC!
Step down into the James Thompson Center Food Court and you''ll find restaurants lined up all around a ring looking straight up into the vaunted ceilings above with sunlight dropping down. You'll find KFC straight ahead from the escalators down and almost always a line lunch hour.
KFC Express does NOT have the KFC Double Down (not that I would try such a montroisity), but they even have a sign to say that they don't carry the much maligned double fried chicken patty sandwich with cheese, bacon and NO bun. Regardless of this, you'll find most everything you'll find at a regular KFC.
There are pictures of food and slots where they drop boxes of the food. Sometimes the food does not match the picture so I always have to open up the box to figure out whether or not the right food is in there. The service is kind of slow depending on who works and how many people in line and what way they pay (cash, card, spare change). There are no free refills and a refill costs as much as a drink.
You'll find the food up to snuff with other KFCs, neither spectacular nor disgusting.
