  A diner that's as good as it gets ... 10 am Saturday morning found the tables full except far back in the restaurant, so my travel partner & I sat at the counter and enjoyed the view of the cook doing her thing on the grill.
  
  My order for $4.95 included two eggs, three strips bacon, and an order of biscuits and gravy, while the three egg omelette included toast, potatoes, fruit, and coffee.  All good !!
  
  Eclectic decor, banter between the regulars customers and staff, & cash only made it a throw back eating experience. I immediately felt like a regular myself.  I'll be back ...

  Nothing is better at 4 in the morning than eggs over easy, crispy hash browns with onions, toast, and the best bacon around.  
  
  Where else are you going to go?  Nicks?  IHOP?  give me a break.  Tom and Lin's Kitchenette is the last and best real greasy spoon around here.

  Good cheap diner - our party ordered chicken sandwich, hamburger, tenderloin & onion rings.   Great food cooked in front of you.  Smell of diner (read greasy) and perfect.

  The Kitchenette... Hehehe.  How could I have missed reviewing this place.  Super cheap, good food.  I have business contacts that come from Chicago on a regular basis.  We like to go out to eat.  This is one of the stops they like to go for lunch.  Which is funny, because we could just as well go to some of the nicer, fancier places in town.  Their burgers are really good.  Great diner experience.  Also good for that midnight snack.
