La Taberna Bar #1

the outside sign says "taqueria &  cocktails"

cool, i thought, grub. i walk in the side door and see that it's a mexican bar specializing in the hard stuff(tequila, whisky, etc) there were many different color lights illuminating the bottles so i couldn't read the labels. the bartender  told me "no draft" so i settled on a tecate (5). she served me and turned to leave. i asked "what about the lime?" pointing to the tecate with my left finger and shaking my right hand as if i had a salt shaker in it.

"you mean lime"  she said.

Me:"yes".

she then brought out a lime, sliced it and gave me a quarter of it along with a shaker of salt.

there's a small pool table here, a juke box and a few flatscreen here. there's a sign claiming this place is a sports bar.
i can't think of a single reason to return. the beer wasn't super cold. just cold, like the atmosphere in the bar..
