The Lemon Grass Restaurant & Lounge

I had made reservations 2 weeks prior for dinner her for my birthday. So I arrived at the scheduled time which was 8:30. As soon as I walked in everyone just stared.. Maybe because I was over dressed for Washington's taste, but anyways I had to tell them that I had reservations instead of being greeted at all.

The hostess takes me to my table which was setup already :) then one of the servers give me water. No on introduces themselves or offers if I wanted anything other than water. The rest of my party came 5 - 10 minutes later. We look over the menu and a different waitress comes & asked if we were ready. Since we weren't, I told her 5 more minutes. She came back in 20 minutes and took our orders. By that time we were the only people in the restaurant since they were about to close in 45 minutes.

The food was great! So no complaints there. Just slightly overpriced when Bangkok is way better for cheaper. No happy birthday wishes from the staff.

My boyfriend and I came here for dinner the other day because I was starving. The server was alright.

The problem I had was we asked our food to be spicy and got 3 stars. His food came up first and he go the heavenly beef and not only was it NOT spicy AT ALL, the meat was cold! It had good flavor I will give it that but I was upset that they didn't add any spice to it and it was cold. I told our server and she said she'll take care of it. They microwaved it in the back (how we found out was the cucumber garnish was cold when we got it and they were warm when we got it back) and just put some chili sauce on top of the meat.
When my food came out, my chicken was warm but it also had no spice added to it.

I have never been too impressed by Lemongrass and safe to say I'll probably not dine here again.

It takes it alot to wow me, so I wasn't surprised when the Lemon Grass fell short of my high expectations.

Inside set up is beautiful, very comfortable and the lounge seems like a decent romantic place for a lounge date.

I found the food was okay, a bit salty and smaller portions than I expected.  The service was good, alot of different servers came over to our table ( which I think is annoying), but ultimately better than rude servers for sure.

So, I mean nothing extravagant about the restuarant I've only been once so I may go back, but for now.
