The Brotherhood Lounge

First came here for NYE in 2012 and liked the eclectic crowd. The decor is real old and funky, but I like this place for that. So, when I stumbled across this place again after eating a bowl of pasta and really liking it. I figured I'd come in here and celebrate the closest thing to me eating a vegetarian meal....I might be stretching it as far as being a vegetarian meal, but like I was saying celebrating my major accomplishment of eating a vegetarian meal.

I like to order a beer on tap and will drink whatever the bartender gives me and then ask her to make me a cocktail of her choosing for me to enjoy.

Let me see, I think they only take cash too, like their neighbor, and the men's latrine was clean. I am assuming that the women's comfort station, ladies don't use the latrine, was comparable.

Love this place! New to Olympia and so far, this is definitely our favorite place to grab a drink.  You don't think of a bar being both divey and spotless....but a clean dive bar? Heaven!  Friendly staff, good selection, interesting mix of patrons.  We'll be back for sure!

My favorite bar in Washington, perhaps the world.  I grew up here off and on (Oly, not the bar).  As a bartender I love the fact that it's cash only.  Also, it's near the old Yardbird's that had the best restaurant inside for clam chowder.  Sometimes I get nostalgic.
