I signed up on Yelp just to review this place. Â If you are looking for mediocre (at best) service and have no taste buds but just want a place to watch football, this is the bar for you. I took two bites of a breakfast and couldn't finish it. Everything is from the freezer, and we're not talking Costco quality. No taste whatsoever. Understaffed, and the bartender/waitress/busgirl spends more time stacking glasses than tending to customers. If you want to spend your visit hunting down every drink and menu, and eat food with no taste in a bleak and basic atmosphere, come to the Log Cabin. Honestly not sure how it stays open with so many decent places to eat in this world.
Review Source:I heard about it on yelp, i have seen the full parking lot and gave it a try. The steak was cheap and big. The flavor was good but dry and tough. I am a medium rare kinda girl and it was cooked more medium. I asked for some cottage cheese for my baked potato and they charged me 2.25! Wow I can get a 16 oz tub for less then that.
I asked the bartender to recommend a good drink and she said how about vodka cran, really thats the best you got?
Can't find a better steak anywhere. I was in Vegas at Craftsteak last year and their $50 ribeye couldn't even compare. We go in often and the bartenders (who are not salty) are very nice and recognize people who frequent. When we've had bad days Log Cabin is the place for us for good drinks and food even when it's not steak night. Bingo was surprisingly really fun.
Review Source:Good food ... typical bar atmosphere. Â Lot's of older folks ... can't beat the prices on food or HH drinks.
If you live in Lacey give this place a shot. Â This was another find that I didn't discover until late in the game (about a month before I moved). Â Was it great? Â No. Â Was it good? Â Yes. Â They have a really great deal on steak dinners on Friday and Saturday nights -- be prepared to wait for your food b/c the place packs out and everyone comes in for the specials.
This place reminds me of a bar that you would find in Lake Havasu -- it has a very biker-esque feel to it. Â A lot of regulars, locals and salty bartenders that don't have the friendly "welcome to Chili's" smile on their faces. Â If your food is taking too long you get the "sorry, you came to a bar not a fine dining establishment" type of attitude.
They have pool, pull tabs, karaoke, bingo, live music, dancing.
Three stars for the atmosphere but 5 stars for a great steak for $8.95 on Fridays. This review is based solely on my steak, which was cooked perfectly, and I had the baked potato. It's a dive-y bar, but I will stop by every Friday for a great steak for a better price.
*Edit* went back on a Wednesday night and had the $8.95 New York Strip. Again an incredible steak that puts Outback and Crapplebees to shame for half the price. The steak was a 12oz, but about an inch thick and perfectly cooked to medium like I ordered. This place's food rocks!
We went on Friday night for a parents night out ( no kids)! Its a bar and grill and people have been telling me for years to go there for the steak. Cause we always have the kids with us, we've never been. The friday night special was The Steak (16oz) for $8.95! It came with baked potato or fries a side salad. All I can say is WOW!! Havent had a steak that good in a while! And for 8.95...come on, you cant beat that. The service was good, interesting little bar. But I would come back 100 times just for the steak! If you dont have kids or dropped them off for a night, then make sure you visit this place!
