Lone Star is a place where you can go without having a long wait. Â The reason, in my humble opinion, is that they cannot seem to get steaks cooked exactly the same way every time. Â Sometimes it is too rare, other times it is too well done. Â We have gone there about 2-5 times a year for about 10 years when we had relatives staying at the hotels that share the parking lot.
Positives: Â attentive staff, fairly wide menu selection of steak, burgers, ribs, chicken, and interesting appetizers and sides. Â Quick seating and usually good service--the staff works as a team if one server is extra busy.
Negative: Â doneness of meat is not consistent.
They are in a prime location, and for that I think they could do a lot more business if they had more consistency in the kitchen so people would go there more than once.
