The Lucky Dog Saloon And Grille

Came here with my wife about a year ago and the beer list was good but the food was so-so and the service was horrible. The waitress we had seemed like she didn't want to be there waiting on us at all, but that was a year ago so hopefully things have changed for the better.

Met some friends for dinner here on Thursday evening.   I have never seen such lousy service in a place. The bartender was good but the waitress needs to find another job, we were ignored and even had to go to the bar to get a drink.   I normally over tip. I have never been in a position before where I didn't want to tip anything at all, until Thursday night at the Lucky Dog.

I've been here a number of times. the food is good, the help is good, and the place is clean. Its good for a date-night or a quick meal. Its got a pub feel because of the bar, but the food is the main attraction.

I don't think there is a bad thing on the menu, The customer always gets a solid meal. So why only three stars? Well......its way to expensive! i paid $15.00 for a chicken wrap and fries! 15 dollars. With tip -came out to $17.00. I think the actual price of the wrap was $14.16, but customers have to spend at least $15.00 when using a card. I'm not a complainer, so i Just paid it.

The important thing is that the place is clean, good service, and good food.

However, the price may be a problem for some. A salad runs about $11.00, with $4.00 extras, meaning... chicken, cheese, any of the "basic" stuff that should be included with a salad, will be extra sir! Crazy!  Lafayette hill isnt that "affluent". Heck....its cheaper to have lunch in Chestnut hill.
