  This place has such good memories for me! I went here a lot with my grandpa as a kid (it was his favorite Muncie restaurant). It's down-home fast food, which means exactly what it sounds like; good, greasy food when that's what you're in the mood for. :)

  Food: 3/5 Only get salads and onion chips from here, the ranch dressing is amazing!
  Atmosphere: 2/5 It's a fast food place, do you expect anything special?
  Overview: It's basically pointed towards older folks, I really just come for the ranch dressing

  While mostly dedicated to the older crowd in Muncie (with "down-home" cooking), Mac's does offer some of the best food around. The specific item I am most in love with are their Ham & Cheese sandwiches. While they are a bit pricey (in Muncie terms) at $2.19 a piece, if you can find one of the "99 Cent" or "Buy 1 Get 1 Free" deals, you are golden...
  
  Their onion chips are also very good - think onion rings only in chip form. Nothing special, just VERY, VERY tasty. They also have a very large breakfast selection, surrounding things like biscuits and gravy (real gravy, not that blob of stuff you find at McDonald's), among others.
  
  If you want something from a fast food restaurant that you won't find at your local McDonald's or Burger King, Mac's is the place for you...
