The very chic decor is a stark contrast to the bland, cafeteria-like food that comes out of the kitchen. I was disappointed with my sad-looking sandwich and chips- it was bland, stiff, and so not what was described in perfect prose on the menu. Good thing the prices are reasonable and there was great service.

I was really looking forward to trying this place based on all the good things I'd heard. I wasn't disappointed, but I wasn't impressed either.

My friend and I both ordered sandwiches. I thought the ordering process could be a little clearer, but it wasn't anything too crazy. My friend really liked his sandwich, I thought mine was ok. The sandwiches took a loooong time to come out and I think there was only one other table that had ordered food in the place.

The service was very friendly and the atmosphere was nice. I think this would be a good place for grabbing a coffee with a friend or date. I would totally go back here for hot chocolate or something, but I'm not sure I'd bother to order food again.

This is one of my favorite places in Albany.  Every time I have been to Madison Station it has been amazing.  The French Toast Paninis are the best!  Also the Hot Chocolate and Appetizers were so good.  It is worth checking out.  The music is also on point.

Wonderful place!  I went here last week with my niece and had the turkey, cheddar bacon panini.  Yum!!

The setting creates a very cozy atmosphere and the staff is very friendly.  Samantha is very outgoing and sweet.

The prices are great to match the quality of the food.  I will definitely go back.

Stopped in this afternoon with the wife. We wanted something quick and local for lunch.

Walking through the door was a trip. I remember the place as Michael's, a bar I was a fairly regular visitor of some 20 years ago. However, I only ever entered Michael's after I was drinking elsewhere, so this was the first time I had ever walked through the door sober.

First impression, the place is beautiful. So much attention has obviously been paid to the details. There are multiple seating areas that are different; seating at the bar, couch/lounge areas, and the table/stools where we sat. I really like seeing the different seating, if we were just going for coffee we might have wanted the more lounging area, but as we were getting something for lunch having a table was preferred.

We started with some coffee - I ordered a S'Mores Mocha and DeAnna had a Carmel something iced. Tasted like a S'Mores in a cup, was awesome. DeAnna ordered an artichoke dip because she was hungry. There was nothing wrong with the dip, but it didn't stand out very much either. Bit of Parmesan cheese would have gone a long way to pick it up a bit.

I ordered a caprese panini. As a caprese, it was mediocre. As a grilled cheese sandwich, it was awesome. The sun dried tomatoes really change the nature of the sandwich which took away some of the freshness I look for in a caprese. It was well prepared, and I knew the tomatoes were sun dried before I ordered it, but it was ultimately not what I think of when I think caprese. The kettle chips served with the sandwich were great, but added to the saltiness of the plate.

DeAnna ordered the Turkey Pecan Gorgonzola Salad, and this is hands down the best salad I have tasted in a long time. It just touches on so many tastes - there's a sweet/sour contrast, a smooth/crunchy contrast, and an earthiness that comes through with every bite. That pomegranate acai vinaigrette is unforgettable. I expect the next time we visit that is exactly what I will be ordering.

What really sticks with me about our visit though, the staff. As we entered there was a lady working who was finishing up checking on the sugar-creamer station. Right behind us was another employee whom we overhead was early for his shift. First thing he did, check the station. As a third staff member came in just before we left, she was back checking the same station. None of those staff had to be asked to check these details, and watching each of them check for themselves instead of assuming someone else took care of it was amazing. None of the staff remained idle for a moment, they each found something to do every moment to make things better. Cleaning the machines, double-checking supplies, all these little things that are so easy to put off for another time.

When you see each member of a staff pay so much attention to how they can individually contribute to the success of a restaurant it speaks more than any advertisement could ever say. These people care. The owners obviously look for an encourage that mentality. When you see the people who work there care so much you can trust that you will get the best experience possible every time you visit.

AMAZE-BALLS! they don't have a liquor license or full menu yet, but the interior is one of the cleanest / most fun family owned establishments I've seen. The BEST chili I have ever had (you know the kind, with chunks of real roast beef). Their buffalo chicken dip is simply incredible and their selection of hot chocolate flavors (never mind the espressos) is enough to warm your toes on any cold day (I go for the peanut butter variety -- one for my stay and another to-go)
