  Haven't had the chance to go when  crowded as seen in the pics, but the times that I have gone I had a good time the good has never disappointed me. Good place close by.

  Hello FOOD SNOB here.
  The Margarita I had here on Cinco di Mayo, was the worst I ever tasted.  I had to send it back. That's how bad it was.
  
  The Steak Tacos were bland. Hardly any flavor.  
  I would give this place another chance but the lady Bartender was not very friendly.
  
  Not much else to say.

  Waited for the food a long time! And it was not so great! I had better Mexican food then this! And I am Mexican! Don't waste your money! Find a better place! The food was very average and not that great.

  Take notes this is how you do Mexican food.
  
  Although it is a bit of a drive we have been going to Margaritas for several months now and I can not see us going back to any of the old places that we went to before.  They have the best chips and salsa by far fresh, hot , delicious.  Everything that I have eaten at this restaurant has been high quality and the service is equally good.  The restaurant is very clean and the atmosphere is great for a group, family or date night.  Don't let the bar scene next door deter you.  I have eaten in the restaurant on several Friday and Saturday nights when there were either a DJ or live band and it did not disturb the dinning room at all.

  poor service and sub par mexican cuisine.  after dining in restaurant for almost 2 hrs they demanded a $10 cover charge to enter the bar, due to a live band performing. not the best way to keep a customer. a $10 cover in the region is far too steep, especially for a cover band.

  I haven't eaten at the restaurant yet, however I have been to the connected bar. Depending on the bartender for the night you may either love your mixed drinks or hate them. 3 of the four drinks my friends had the other day were watery. Other days, different bartender but same drinks, the drinks were good. Nice small atmosphere with karaoke and bags. This is a nice starter bar for the night.

  Margaritas is a fun place to dine and hang out with family and friends, along with Drink & Dinner specials (Especial Nachos).
  
  Mixmasters DJ's, are there during the week providing a wide verity of music, as well as Live Band entertainment during the weekends. The band plays there once a month House Band that is called "Latin Satin Soul" These guys pack the house to capacity every time they perform there (A reminder for wanting to see these guys is to call ahead to try and reserve a table).
  
  In addition they offer FREE Latin dance classes every Tuesday. The restaurant's scene is very wonderful (It looks better than some Mexican restaurants in Chicago).
  
  They have an excellent enclosed patio area. They also have a hall for especial events that is available upon reservation. The bar section looks like a sports bar, the  drinks are good yet strong and the bartenders and staff are polite.
  
  This is a "DO NOT MISS" Place if you are around the town!!
