Blah. Â I ordered for the first (and only time) last night because I got a taste for Indian food kinda late and my usual place was closed.
I ordered the Butter Chicken. Â Ew. It tasted like someone opened up a can of Campbell's tomato soup and doctored it up. Â Or it was tomato basil bisque from a bar... way too tomato-y. Â And no chicken. Â Literally maybe 6 cubes of dried, tough chicken parts.
The paneer pakora (fried cheese) was too heavily breaded and burned. Â I thought I was going to break a tooth. Â
On the positive side, my meal was delivered in under a half an hour.
Hopefully next time I get a taste for Indian, it will be before 10pm.
I frequent Masala because of its location, pricing, and variety. Â It is not the best Indian food or the best Thai food I have had, but it's good. Â
In general I would recommend their Indian menu more so than the Thai menu. Â Samosas and Naan are very generous so don't over order. Â The vegetarian selections are great, especially their Dal Palak. Â Pad Thai is fine, but not great... you can definitely find better on Argyle.
