I haven't been to McDonald's in years since my decision not to die of a heart attack. But I was forced to go with a group of friends. I ordered a hamburger and fries. Thinking back to my younger days, I remembered when I look forward to eating at McDonald's. Halfway through my hamburger, I reflected on how much a lost soul I must have been, believing this was food I one time craved.
The McDonald's was first rate in atmosphere and location but I cannot get past the aftertaste on my tongue on my breath after consuming the hamburger. The only saving grace for McDonald's is their french fries and Sundays, and a pinch anyway.
If you need a cheap meal, go someplace else and eat half a sandwich. If your car breaks down and a McDonald's hamburger is your emergency ration, wait until the last minute for rescue. If your drunk out of your mind, you're forgiven, you don't know any better and your taste buds are confused.
