This place as recently opened up and take over the spot of a local eatery, Delicious. I was excited to find this spot on my most recent trip back to my workplace in Chicago. They have a wide selection of greens and vegetables so you can make your own salad or order one of their creations. I have had the Asian salad with Chicken which is really good and I also had the Buffalo chicken salad which I enjoyed. This is a frequent lunch spot for me when I go back to work in Chicago!

    Not sure.

I work in the building and have been there twice.  The first time the truffle pizza had way too much truffle oil.  Now that's not the first time I've had food that had too much truffle oil, experienced that once at Lady Gregory's too.

The other day got a cobb salad.  My fault in some respects.  It was later in the day and they didn't have any iceberg lettuce out and i agreed to a mixed greens substitution.  Sort of like having a burger with two pieces of wheat bread.

I'll try them again.  I'm sure we can figure this out.

For all of my complaints about the lunch options in my labor-hood, Mixed Greens has generally been a pretty solid choice.  After the former establishment serving burgers, sandwiches, pizza, soup, salad, beer and pretty much anything else you might want closed, I was a little relieved to discover a somewhat healthy replacement in its wake.

They have a pretty wide selection of "greens" that you can "mix" together to form your own custom salad.  Or, if you're feeling saucy/lazy like myself, try out one of the options off the menu.

I'm not a huge salad guy in general (because if I made one it would end up with meat all over it and copious amounts of dressing, hence effectively ruining the idea behind a healthy salad), but they have plenty of other options to choose from.  The paninis and soups are pretty solid, and they've even added a 1/2 soup, 1/2 sandwich option for people that can't commit (there's more than you think.)

The couple of pizzas I've tried in the past were both pretty salty, so I'd say you're probably better off sticking to salads, sandwiches and soup (unless of course you like salty pizza, then you're definitely better off ordering salty pizza.)

The whole ordering process has been and remains to be quite confusing.  You never really know where you stand in line, which line you're standing in, if you're in the right place, where to go afterwards, where to wait and what your'e waiting for.  But once you make it through the cluster of people, there's generally a place to pop a squat and enjoy your grub.

Prices are also slightly high for a once-a-day type activity.  I could see myself eating here more often with a moderate drop in price.  I always feel like I paid a bit too much for "greens" that are just "mixed" up.  Ok, I'll stop now.
