my roommates and i ordered from mom's, but when we got our food, one of the entrees was missing. we called to see about getting the last item, but they were already closed. it ended up being okay because we had enough food, and what we did have was delicious. the pizza was good and the ribs were fan-fucking-tastic - and that's an understatement. i called the day after memorial day to let them know about the error and the lovely woman on the phone provided excellent customer service - not only did she send the missing entree over, but she included two desserts for us and apologized for the error. i would order from there again.

Absolutely LOVE Mom's pizza's unique flavor and friendly family environment! Been a customer for 12yrs, and when I leave the State or country, I gotta have a Mom's Pizza the day I get back to Chicago! (It's become a tradition)

I'm giving this place five stars only after having been a loyal customer of theirs every Thursday night for the last three years. I don't normally do reviews, but the hipster douchebag who bitched about the artichoke heart pizza he couldn't eat, yet left in his fridge for some insane, yet no-doubt esoteric, self-righteous reason was enough to get me to respond.

This is the neighborhood pizza joint Guy's used to be, before they became ashamed of being in Humboldt Park, and began chasing the ever-flaky, perpetually idiotic Wicker Park demographic. Mom's is small, unsophisticated, humble, and just downright terrific. I have no idea who the owner is, other than some older lady who called my cell one time to ask why I was spending so much ordering through grubhub every week when I could've saved $6 on every order by going through their new website. Say what you will about your petulant "Big Brother" nonsense - if my pizza lady is willing to keep track of what I order to provide me better value, I'm totally sold.

The pizza speaks for itself. The gravy is perfection, the mozzadell is plentiful, and the sausage is the best I've had since my childhood in NYC.

However, I tried the baked mostaccioli with meatballs a few weeks back, and as a result, will probably not order another pizza from them until December. The meatballs are, beyond any shadow of a doubt, the best I've ever had. They are sublime, and are enough to resurrect memories of my Brooklyn childhood. If Mom's ever decides to start selling meatball parm sandwiches, I'll gladly go to my Heavenly reward with one stuck in my piehole.

As for the delivery time, I'm fortunate enough to live two blocks from the place, so I've never had to wait more than 30 minutes. But, if you live in some over-priced, Bohemian shithole and have to wait more than an hour for food from a neighborhood you hate anyway, then perhaps you'd be better off calling Papa John's. They gladly cater to self-involved, elitist tools who order artichoke hearts on their pizza in a futile bid to seem "relevant."

Horrible. We found Mom's through gubhub and ordered online a thin crust pizza.
It took forever, arrived cold and the crust was the worst I have ever had.

I'm sad to say we had a terrible experience from Mom's Pizza.  After reading the reviews, I had my hopes up.

Just to be clear, this order was 1 large deep dish pizza (3 toppings, $23.00).  The pizza had black olives, mushrooms, and artichoke hearts.  All ingredients were clearly canned (including the mushrooms).  The pizza seemed to come in 3 layers, crust/sauce/topping (not traditional deep dish), with each layer sliding around on its own.  It made me feel ill.  Though starving, I stomached 1.5 pieces before throwing in the towel.

The pizza we ordered was so bad that though I've kept it in my fridge, I will not be consuming it for a meal or for a snack in the coming days.  It just wasn't edible.

I had a  great conversation with Mom while ordering, and the delivery was prompt.  I'm disappointed to submit this review, but be warned.  It simply wasn't good pizza and you'd do better ordering elsewhere.

My 2nd Favorite Pizza in Chicago (Lou Malnati's is my Number One). I came across Mom's Pizza Inc. on Grubhub (It was late night & I wanted pizza). This place showed up and I gave it a try. The PAN Pizza with Half Sausage/Half Pepperoni is AMAZING! It's the sauce. It's homemade! And the cheese...it's 100% real Mozzarella. You can tell because of it's texture (oil shouldn't sit on top of the cheese). I went to Le Cordon Bleu for Culinary and I highly recommend this Pan Pizza.

I met the owner and she admits the consistency isn't always 100% because of her current health condition. My prayers are with her. Regardless, So far, this place hasn't failed me once.

DELIVERY TAKES 1 1/2 Hours. (and I live 2 blocks away). It's a Mom & Pop Pizzeria, so it's expected. Be ready to wait, but it will be worth it!

The first positive thing that happened was they were out of oreo dessert so they called to tell us that and replaced it with a wonderful fresh fruit flan. Second positive; the food was piping hot and delivered in a timely manner. Hubby had the baked mostaccioli and he said it was good, didn't rave but said it was good. We also had an order of cheese sticks which were very good. I ordered a thin crust 10" pizza with spinach and fresh garlic and asked them to please not cut into squares, either pie cut or leave it uncut. It arrived, too much minced garlic out of a jar, spinach was not fresh spinach, it was frozen or worse canned and it was cut into those stupid little squares. The pizza ruined the deal for me. Not sure if I'd order again and if I did I'd make sure to just get plain pizza and follow up my computer order with a phone call to say please don't slice the pizza.

The pizza was delicious!  We got delivery, which took quite a while - over an hour.  So keep that in mind when ordering.  We got a pineapple pizza, some cheese sticks and onion rings.  They gave us a free 7-up.

Super cheap, good place to order from if you live in Logan Square or nearby.

I almost want to write a bad review so that it won't be any slower with delivery.... but I can't.  It is just too yummy.

I love the pizza!  I especially love the pizza bread.  it is so yummy.  I would highly recommend trying Mom's.  Except for the fact that I always want it on Monday and they are closed!  Just a warning, It takes a while - so order before you want the food!  As long as you aren't starving, it is well worth the wait.  So good!

My family and I ordered from Mom's this past Wednesday. The kids loved the pizza (very reasonably priced at 2 medium 1 topping for 12.99). My husband had the steak sandwich and he's still raving about it (the meat was slightly tough, but not tough enough to deter his eating pleasure).

I would definitely recommend Mom's...I was surprised they delivered to my area (Austin Area). The service was quick (45 min) and my food was hot.

Truly a mom and pops place; The mom runs the cash register!! lol she's a very sweet lady...

I just stuffed my face and all i can say is WOW!! it's not too thick and not too thin, and it's filling. Although, slice or two or seven isn't enough! :)...In fact it was sooo good that i'm not ashamed to add that i did need to unbutton! Hahahah

One itsy bitsy tiny problem though, I ordered a pizza with black olives, and one of them still had the pit... :/...it could've been a problem, but luckily I know CPR ;)

    oh and very reasonable prices!!

I have been looking for a decent pizza place in the logan square area and finally found one! Mom's is more than decent, it's the best pizza I've had in Chicago! The food is completely authentic....like Mom actually made it! The crust is so fresh and tasty and the cheese is not overly greasy. When you pull a piece the cheese actually stretches like real cheese should. Nothing fake here; no corners cut. GREAT pizza. Also, had the cheese sticks...nom nom nom! ORDER here - you will not be disappointed. BTW - delivery on a Friday was supposed to be an hour...pretty much to be expected. However, the super nice delivery guy showed up 30 min after my order was placed with a nice hot pizza! And...free drink. NICE!

Don't bother with tourist traps, Mom's Pizza is possibly the best DD pizza I've had in Chicago.  The customer service is friendly, the delivery is fast, and the prices are reasonable.  They also always give me a free liter of RC.  Hooray!  Support small businesses!  (Just stay away from their Jibaritos-- go to Borinquen for those.)

First off, if you are a vegan-- cheeseless pizza is no problem (not a silly request to them at all.)

They have tons of veggie (and meat) toppings.  The deal is two one topping medium pizzas for 12.99.  Buuuut, you can get half one topping and half another and not be charged extra.   Aaaand, if you get cheeseless, then two toppings is technically a one topping pizza.

This is an oustanding deal on food, people.  Plus kind and considerate service.  All around, Mom's has provided some of the best pizza experiences in my life.  5 stars for consistent excellency.
