Between us, we ordered a pizza puff, fried mushrooms, extra thin crust pepperoni and green pepper pizza, italian beef sandwich and the jumbo spinach stuffed shells. What a disappointment. First, they called us to say that they were out of spinach shells, and "you'll get regular, ok?" I asked him what he meant by "regular," and he just kept saying "it's the regular, you get the regular," and was really rude. I said okay, fine, I'll take the regular, whatever that is.
The pizza puff and fried mushrooms were pretty good, but nothing special. The pizza was mediocre at best; it was really greasy and the crust was hard and tasteless. The italian beef sandwich was described by my boyfriend as "flavorless, dry meat on soggy bread." The shells turned out to just be 4 noodle shells (overcooked and mushy), stuffed with mealy, bland ricotta, in a boring marinara sauce, with almost half an inch of greasy water at the bottom. I ate 3 bites and couldn't keep going.
We agreed that this was one of the worst delivery experiences ever. Definitely never ordering from here again. Ugh.
I absolutely love the pizza from this place, the crust it's so good. Plus the staff is friendly and attentive. Not to mention their specials are really affordable and their menu is pretty extensive. I would recommend this place for a fast lunch, dinner, or grab and go. I go here for pizza at least once a week and it comes with a free 2 liter of pop and wings!
Review Source:Other than Uno's and Gino's, I'm not big on deep dish pizza thing. Â But Dino and Nick's serves up pretty good deep dish at this west Logan Square pizza joint. Â I'd get the sausage and jalepeno delivered from D&N's and about two slices into it would be full. Â The sauce is a little on the sweet side, so the jalepenos complimented and contrasted it in a good way.
Dino? Â Nick? Â I see your guys's sign each and every day to and from work from the Metra train. Â One of these days I might just have to get off at the Healy stop and stop in and say "Hey!"
