I've lived in Logan Square for an entire year now and had never  tried out this place, because from the outside it looks like a small grocery/convenience store (I was half right, it's both).
I love mom and pop hot dog joints, and this one did not disappoint. I ordered a hot dog and fries and was about to get a soda, when the lady running the convenience half of the store offered me home made apple juice (which she made in front of me). She even offered to put a little pear in it, but I declined. It was freaking delicious, and well worth the dollar. My total came out to $4.16.
My hot dog was good, and the fries were just okay. Â The friendliness of the staff and nostalgic setting was much appreciated. I'll definitely be coming back to try other things.
NOM on yelpers.
