A hole-in-the-wall for sure, but:
1. They have a patio
2. Any bar that allows you to pick up the happy hour tab with a 10-spot is ok by me.
3. They have the BEST popcorn I have ever had a bar (and for that matter, better than the popcorn I had at the movies recently.) Otherwise, no food.
Friday's 4-9pm happy hour is 99 cent well drinks and American drafts - this includes Yingling my friends.
People are local, friendly and by 9pm, pretty happy :) Â The bartender, Anthony, will be your best friend, and maybe blow you a kiss as you leave.
I fear the 99 cent drinks will call me again....
This place is average. The definition of the neighborhood bar. They aren't trying to impress you with their mixologists behind the bar, but they make the drinks good and strong.
The liquor selection is not very impressive, nor is the beer selection. We ended up here for a friends' birthday party on $2 night. Every drink was $2! For a fairly potent Long Island, it was a great deal.
The highlight of this bar is their Skee-ball machine. I died of happiness seeing it there. I would return just to play Skee-ball. I think more bars should have them-what an excellent way to get us to spend money. Forget Keno!
