Nathan's is a go to place for me and my daughter for their Grilled Chicken Pita sandwich. Â They seem to have a lot of other stuff... burgers, hot dogs, curried goat, etc. but I've never tried it! Â I love the grilled chicken pita with the greasy fries. Â It comes with well seasoned dark meat chicken, sauteed veggies and a healthy dose of those not so healthy fries. Â Simple, quick and tasty. Â Along with their home made ginger beer, it's a great snack. Â On the days when I am more abstemious, I opt for the grilled chicken salad... green leaf lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, comes with the grilled chicken (another healthy portion) wrapped separately in foil w/a choice of dressings. Â I always ask them to add grated cheese. Â It's a good salad, always fresh! Â Maybe they'd get more stars if I tried the other dishes, or maybe I'd subtract a star, who knows! Â My review has tunnel vision, I'll admit it but no one does chicken pita better for the price!
Review Source:I've been to this place on several occasions and the food has always been hot, fresh and tasty. I mean what can you expect from a simple hole-in-the-wall type joint? The service is always prompt and the menu is expansive.
I've only ordered hot dogs, burgers and fries so I can't pretend to know what their other food tastes like but I've been satisfied with all my previous orders.
i have never been a big fan of nathans, the boyfriend orders from them quite frequently, he gets the turkey or ham croissant all the time he really likes them but thats all he ever orders. i've tasted his croissants and they were ok, well groupon now gave me $5 and they had a $5 offer so i got it it was for a chicken pita, fries and pop. the sandwich was actually good, diced up pieces of grilled chicken breast with onions red and green peppers zucchini and squash. it came with a sauce but i didnt need it. the fries are horrible, idk i just dont like crinkle fries it was a good meal, a good free meal, thanks groupon!
