New Jersey Mike's Subs

Not a bad sub shop.  The bread is fresh, they slice the meat and cheese when you order.  Hot and cold subs.  The Italian was delicious, had it served "Mike's Way"
Fast and WAY better than Subway.

Love the tuna with pepper jack sandwich here! While the food quality is always exceptional, the evening crew can be a little spotty. Not sure why, but they are putting the chairs on top of tables as early as 7pm (open until 9pm) making it appear as if they might be closed. Take a few moments to listen to your customer, get their order correct and maybe chat a moment or two while you make their meal....it will make your job a lot more enjoyable. The day manager is fantastic at this (learn from him)!

Even though there is a Panera bread 4 doors down and has more ambiance and desserts, if I am craving an awesome sub, I head here! I loathe Subway too. (Just because it's ubiquitous doesn't mean it's good!) They slice the cheese and meat right in front of you and allow you to give instructions on exactly what you want on your sandwich. I remember once at Panera, I had gotten hardly any meat on my sandwich and when I went back up to ask for more, they said they couldn't give me any more because each portion is pre-packaged and they couldn't use another packaging to add more meat to my sandwich. Well! Guess what? I'd rather go to Jersey Mike's anyway! This particular location doesn't have fresh brewed iced tea, otherwise they'd get 5 stars. I also love that they carry sun chips. If you're into simple and tasty sandwiches, this is your spot, trust me! It's in the complex on the southwest corner at Allisonville & 82nd where the Michaels/Marsh/Petsmart is, fyi.
