Had a blast. Went there for a friend's birthday party, was really afraid we were lost. The building is in a seedy type of area and you can't be to sure where you are going. But once you are inside, the establishment is bright and clean. The staff is nice! Music selection is a bit limited though, but you can really have a ball though!

Interesting place. I planned a chill girls night and booked a room. At first, I was creeped out because its back in a strip mall and looks super shady. But once we got in our room we had a blast! It was so fun to have a private room and not be bothered by other groups. The equipment was nice, the room a little rough but we weren't expecting anything great. I will def come again!

Good selection of music, and although the remotes are hard to work out at first (they always are at Korean karaoke places) my friends and I had fun. They had Taylor Swift, backstreet boys, rap, rock, etc etc. Surprisingly, their food is tasty. My friends ordered some of the fried shrimp and chicken wings, it's crazy expensive, but totally satisfying. They add something in the breading that just. Makes it so good. I think I ate seven of the chicken wings. There were some leftover and I took them and put them in my pocket so I wouldn't look like a fat-ass and could eat them secretly in the car.

The karaoke machines are good, private rooms is a great idea, but who pays for sodas nowadays if you order a bottle of Liquor? I mean wheres the service at when you pay for the bottle service? Need I say more for this establishment? Or how about the couches? They are pretty old and the private rooms do not even have nice seating arrangements. If you want to go to a nice karaoke, the best seats in the house would be your own since the preference is always the way you like them?! lol I'm sorry if my reviews sounds like I'm ranting or being harsh but Karaokes used to be a great source of relieving stress during younger days, but nowadays, karaoke is just another avenue to get trashed when other establishments are closed, so no bueno for other patrons!!!

Decided to hit up some karaoke after eating some Korean BBQ on a Saturday night.   This joint was right across the highway although a bit hard to find at first since it was tucked in an industrial area.

They have several private rooms here and they also have a bar in the main lobby. The room we were in was pretty basic. A few couches, tv, sound system. They have a ton of songs to choose from. Even new hits. Funny thing, was that all the videos were Korean and not the normal US music videos. House of Pain's Jump Around didn't flow in the video, but just go with it!  You'll never noticed after a few beers in. They should offer up some more Korean drinks. We ended up ordering some Shiners and a fruit platter. Enjoy!

If I could pick any kind of night establishment I could go to, I would most likely pick karaoke ten times out of ten. That being said, having a good time at Karaoke is serious business. While Family Karaoke has consistently dominated in terms of top notch service and quality, Norazo is coming in with a close second in becoming the next karaoke establishment that the mainstream public is flocking to.

Here's the lay down. Norazo is open until 4AM, and that's plenty of time to have some alcohol in your system and belt out your favorite song performed by your boy-band. It's a good time to say goodbye because it isn't quite early at 2AM but you've had enough by 6AM, so 4AM does the trick.

    PROS:
For instance... they charge twenty dollars per hour per small room, but if you order food or alcohol that is equivalent to that, they only charge for one hour and it's "free" as long as you order the equal amount of food/drinks that is in this case, $20 for every hour you stay. Say I order $40 dollars worth of drinks and food and stay for two hours, instead of getting charged for $40 + ($20 x 2 hours) = $80, I get charged just $60. You only pay for the first hour and the rest is pretty self explanatory.

    CONS:
Microphones are still wired connected.. It's kind of hard to sing while tripping over people trying to get the mike. Buzz kill much?
As with the other karaokes, if you don't know how to operate the remote, you're pretty much stuck slaving away at the song book that hasn't been updated since like the beginning of 2012. Lesson learned, learn some Korean or take someone who can read and understand Korean with you. You'll have a much better time enjoying the karaoke experience.

Brought 50 people here and it was crazy.  But the staff didn't mind haha my friends i think ran a minimum of 50 dollars in liquor a piece.  The rooms was really large and accommodating.  We couldn't fit all 50 in the 20 person room but we got at least 35 at a time in rotating between buying drinks at the bar.  The other customers seems wierded out by our massive entourage.  But the staff didn't mind and that's what matters.  Much better deal the family and better facility overall.  Never going to Star, song bird, or family again. Norazo you've earned 50 new customers.

Nice staff, expensive drinks, comfy couches, pretty updated song selection, late hours, decent food, shady location.

The experience really is hindered by how little Korean I know (as all the controls are in Korean), but w/e. People come here to get drunk, right? Singing is just a by-product.

My friend's husband threw a little get together for about 15-20 friends at Narazo. When we pulled up we were like "where the hell are we?" It seems a little sketchy, surronded by a bunch of warehouses in the back parking lot.

But we went in and we were suprised that its nice, clean and "cool" inside. There are several different rooms with doors. Each room had chairs, couches, coffee tables, flat screens, lightening, surrond sound and all the karoke equipment you need. The controls are these huge remote control panels that can operate the music and lighting. Once we got over how nice this sketchy looking place was, we headed to the bar for drinks.

Psh, here's why I write my review. The drinks. They arent drinks! They are so damn weak! I am not much of a drinker so usually after a drink or two, I am pretty drunk. But I had about 5 drinks and was like what the hell? I was tired of paying for drinks. So someone finally went and bought a bottle of liquor down the street and snuck it in. Yup, thats how bad it was! Remind you......we aren't raging alcoholics, we just felt like we weren't getting what we paid for! We all work very hard and dont go out often so when we do, we really like to make a night of it.

Food came with the room rental. I think there were chicken wings, cheese and crackers and a fruit tray. I cant remember what else there was though. The food was actually good. I expected it to be mediocare....we were at a karaoke bar afterall. The chicken wings were actually very good now that I think back.

The staff was super sweet all night long. Service was a tad slow but there were only a few people working so it was okay.

Overall, we enjoyed this place, but they really need to stop screwing their customers. We all said if the drinks were better, we would go back. There's a fine line between a bartender accidentally making a few weak drinks .....but to blatently make drinks weak so you make more profit......thats just makes them look stupid. And it makes me wonder how many customers they loose over that? I know none of us will be back because of it.

I know the term "hidden gem" is thrown around a lot of yelp...but considering this joint is literally, maybe even strategically, located in the center of metal sided industrial warehousing area...I'm gonna go with "hidden". And since their sign is illuminated with fairy lights which can be a bit sparkly, I'll even use "gem" for good measure. Yea, so if you're lucky enough to find the place, you're in for a real treat. As far as Karaoke places go...this is the tits!

They rent their rooms by the hour - like their competitors. BUT - if you order food/alcohol equivalent to the cost to your room - they waive the additional hourly charges. You still have to pay for the first additional hour, but after a few brewskies with your crew, you're golden!

You'd think their rooms cost more... au contraire mon ami oh-hoh-hoh. $20 p/h for a small room, $30 p/h for a medium room, and $40 p/h for a large. I dare say, their rooms also lean on the nicer side. You can make a reservation online, but I haven't had a problem (yet) just walking in and getting a room immediately.

Too good to be true? What a smart consumer you are! The catch is they kick you out after 3 hours of healthy vocal belting. That's if they remember to do so in a timely fashion...Asian establishments run on Asian time too you know? *wink wink*

LOVE their song collection too. They're UP TO DATE on their US TOP 40's!! These are all housed in the NEW SONGS book towards the back - small sliver of English songs on each page. There's not a dedicated chunk - except for in the older books with your 80's classics. They even have some my obscure favorites like lonely island and TENACIOUS D. If you have any questions, just ask the staff. They're nice enough and they speak ENGLISH!

So cheap, clean, English speaking, Ke$ha to Dio song variety? That "sings" for itself. See what I did there??!

This place was ok... the private rooms were awesome, but the set up could have been better. We had a few couches, and a conference table in the middle. Just seemed weird.

It's in the warehouse district and seems like an Asian Mafia HQ, but it's not... The inside is ok, and the drinks are $10; beers $4. The food was just mediocre, but it's a Karaoke place, not a restaurant.

The singing was AMAZING! Whoever was doing the singing had some of the best voices I've heard in a long time!

We'll probably go back sometime. It IS one of the better karaoke places, and we did enjoy ourselves... but could use a little smoothing up around the edges.

The first time I ventured into this place (located in the back corner of a warehouse district strip center) four years ago with a Korean friend, it was a decent experience.  The next time I tried to go with a group of Anglo friends, we were met at the door by the hostess and told "KOREANS ONLY!"  I am not kidding.  We just stood there dumbstruck... and then promptly turned around and went to MAC and had a blast for the next three hours and dropped almost $300 on food and drinks.  I am still in shock that this happened, can only hope that it was a freak occurence and that the owners/employees have reconsidered this assinine policy!?!?  Good luck staying in business and not getting SUED otherwise!

One of the cleaner karaoke places in the KTown area .  Food is above average .  They have your typical late night food ( i.e. chicken wings ), but they also have some unique food ( i.e. fried gizzards ) .  Also have flavored soju ... um um um .  But you have to know where it is , b/c it's surrounded by a bunch of warehouse looking buildings and is tough to find and in a semi-shady area .

If you ain't ordering drinks they'll hit you with the "time limit" excuse and ask you to leave.

As much as my friends & I frequent this place it came to us as a surprise we were being asked to leave. Only difference was we weren't knocking them back like we normally do.

I guess they consider a few beers, two bottles of  flavored soju, and 10 shots of crown is considered a "slow night".

What's ironic is we left yet there was no one waiting in the lobby/bar area, good business sense there...

    Won't spend another dime here...

Best karoake place in dallas , hands down.  For me it's the OVERALL that matters.  I don't want a fancy place that overcharges me so much that i have to give up my house the day after I party at a karoake bar.  I've said this once and I'll say it again.  Order alcohol, get a flat-rate room PERIOD.  Yeah ... there are newer places , and yes I HAVE been to them but .. you just gotta trust me on this one folks.

Oh and by the way .. someone asked so ..

YES!  You need to be 21 and older .. tee hee hee ..

If Family is full this place would be a decent fill in. This place has never been busy the times I've gone and I've never needed to wait for a room. The rooms are clean and spacious. They are larger than the ones you can find at Family and the couches are pretty comfortable as well. There's only one screen per room, but with the extra space it's pretty easy to see the screen regardless of where you sit. Norazo is pretty hidden and you wouldn't know where to look for it unless someone brings you there. This place is literally located in an alleyway of warehouses. I had second thoughts of trying out this place the first time. My biggest gripe is that they don't update their song list nearly as frequently as Family. You won't be able to find song from Taio Cruz or Eminem's new album here. However, the list of their "older" songs is pretty extensive and I was able to find everything I wanted. Check this place out if you're wanting to sing on a Friday night and you don't want to wait for a room. Definitely a good alternative.

I came here based on a few good reviews, and another review saying that there is no room charge if you buy drinks (I believe that's also what it states on their website). However, we were still charged $30 when we got there, even though we were ordering a ton of drinks. There was no hourly fee as promised, but this "room charge" took me by surprise. It was my understanding that we would purchase at least $30 in drinks and there would be no room charge at all. I tried to argue my point but either the guy didn't understand English very well, or he was just playing it off that way. Also, there was a misunderstanding about whether or not we could have people under 21 in the room. I initially called the number on the website to ask, and they said yes. When we got there, they said no. There is a huge lack of communication there and they are so wishy-washy about the prices/rules etc. Simple put - the management is horrible and the service sucks.
Another thing I didn't like about this place is that the entire keypad controller for the music is in Korean and there is no diagram or service help in translating it. It took us a good 20 minutes just to get their attention to help us figure it out.
Honestly they are getting 3 stars in hopes that the pricing issue was a misunderstanding on my part. The song selection was good and we were able to have fun and make the most of the night despite their crappy service.

I will preface this update by saying that we did not order any hard liquor this time around and the service was noticeably different. I went here on Saturday with some friends and we wanted to have a low key night with singing and hanging out at a chill place.

We got the largest room and ordered a lot of food BUT only a couple of beers. The first hour we had a fun time and the waitress lady was initially cordial. However, I did find it weird that she would ask if we were Korean (I would later find out why).

To cut this story short, We were rushed into ending our night early with some lousy excuse about people waiting for our room (even though it was not a busy night and we did make reservations). It was not until one of my friends called the waitress out on it, that she finally told us to stay as long as we want.

In conclusion, If you're not Korean and you're not ordering alcohol then this place really doesn't want your business. Its a shame because I used to be a regular. I will still give the benefit of the doubt that maybe it was just an isolated incident with the new waitress so I will give this place 3 stars instead of the 2 stars that I really want to give them right now.

    Alright alright, check it.

If you are into Karaoke, this place is pretty damned tight.  Rooms don't cost anything as long as you buy drinks.  So you could stay here for 4 hrs and no room charge yo.  Second, I believe bottles of crown here were $90?!?!?  Holy chit!  (That's cheap compared to other places.)

So what's not to like?  Food is good.  Girls working the bar are decently cute.  Rooms are nice.  Place is good.  Check it out.

norazo is the best karaoke in dallas i think,
food is good, system is good  everything is good!
i've been going to norazo since they re-opened, i liked it so much
paying one roomcharge and you are free until they close!
    (except on weekends)
they limit 3hrs on weekends but still 3 hr in other place you pay $75 to $90or more?! but norazo you only pay 20 for 3 hrs
everyone who reads this review should go to norazo and check out how they've been changed!

Well I had a review for them a while back, but it some how mysteriously disappeared. (*Nudge nudge* Yelp)

They've gone back to their regular Karaoke format, so leave the ill will at home if you've been sent away back when they had the hostess bar format. Now bartenders are eager to greet you in when you arrive.

They've remodeled their interior so don't be worried when you're driving up into the industrial park. I do have to add that since they did add more separate rooms it did cut into their 'open' space, so their bar area is a bit smaller. The newer rooms are really spacious with new furniture so you can have more people laugh at you when you sing like William Hung.

Check out their website for pics and prices for their other drinks! Their Lemon Soju is kick ass!

I might have been a little harsh with Norazo in the past. I had a talk with the owner and I think things will meet a status quo. Therefore, I am changing my review.

    See y'all there.

Korean norebang...it is a bit expensive, good service..the food is alright-- classics like pork katsu (breaded pork), dduk bo kee, (spicy rice cakes), and odeng (fish cake soup) are pretty good. Also, if you want to try something new, and like spicy (very spicy) try the Gol baeng e mu chim (snails and noodles). It's good, but you're gonna need lots of water and rice! The noodles are full of snails too, which are very tasty! Usually really big servings (hence the price being so high) so be prepared to share.

They have a good selection of new, popular American music, but of course it's mostly Korean. There is a separate book for Chinese, Vietnamese, and Tagalog too. I only pay attention to the Chinese ones of course and they are very old! No S.H.E or Jay Chou or anyone..darn!

It's $20 per hour unless you buy alcohol and then it's $20 a room. Or you can just not get a room and drink and hang out in the main area.

Also, it's very hidden and the sign is in Korean..if you wanna go, send me a message and I'll try to help you get there
