We hosted a corporate event here a couple of weeks ago and it was top-notch. It's a beautiful venue with three distinct areas - the inside features exposed brick and wooden beams in a loft-style space with a large downstairs and smaller upstairs area (each with its own bar - and props for the barcelona chairs upstairs), and outside is an awesome, swanky, bamboo-lined patio. The setup lends itself well to any event that needs a stage and/or dance floor. Lighting and sound systems are great and those on our team who coordinated the event spoke very highly of the owner and indicated the rental fee was very reasonable.
Review Source:After having checked this place out for a Yelp event, I'm jealous not to have one in Tampa. Totally worth the trip for the service folks alone. I could imagine it stuffed with professionals, or hipsters depending on the event, and everything was marvelous.This could be the most popular place to get hitched in DTSP. I have no idea what I could possibly host there, but I hear they have quite the costume party here as well, Totally hitting that up for Halloween!

Upon entering the space, there is a beautiful courtyard leading into the main area. Â Every member of the staff was very friendly. Â The owners walked from table to table to talk to all the attendees about the space and give more information on the history. Â
The style and decor of Nova is very classy and trendy without being too over the top. Â The use of up lights on all the pillars was a very classy touch in my opinion. Â
This is mainly an event venue space and working for a local DJ company in Tampa, I think it is a very great place to have a wedding reception or corporate party, etc. Â

I had the pleasure of being part of a corporate event at Nova 535, and I can't say enough great things about this venue. Â Super classy, and Mike the owner saw to it that we had everything we needed to pull off an outstanding event. Â The brick and art decor is ultra modern and the lighting makes the ample space seem intimate. Â There are two bars, one upstairs and one down, and the area upstairs opens up over the beautiful bamboo lined courtyard. Â The bar staff was fantastic and the sound system was amazing. Â Next time I'm hosting an event I will consider the drive to St. Pete (I'm from Orlando) just to be able to use this space again.
Review Source:I first noticed Nova 535 about a year ago when I drove past it on the way home. I was curious about the place, but I didn't expect it to look like much on the inside. I was wrong. This place is incredible.
I attended a Black and White Party hosted by Chef Gary Moran at Nova 535 last night and I fell in love with Nova 535. It really makes me want to have the wedding reception that we sort of skipped when we got married 6+ years ago.
There is a gorgeous and spacious outdoor patio area. Brick windowless walls that are lined with vibrant, colorful art work with backlighting. A fantastic bar. Great staff. A nice sound system. Really nice bathrooms (they are individual rooms with marble (or marble looking?) interiors and they each have a piece of beautiful artwork hanging in them). Everything you could ask for in an event space.
This is definitely a venue I would return to again. I hope they have a lot of success.
Great event space for most anything you can think you would need an event space for.
Bare brick walls and uber high ceiling give it a cool warehouse feel.
Large bars downstairs and upstairs bar can handle quite a party.
Courtyard space is great for a photo-shoot, party or fire dancers.
Check out the space before booking anywhere else downtown.
As a wedding photographer, I see a lot of venues and work with many coordinators and I have to say that NOVA 535 is one of my very favorite places to work! The location is beautifully done to suit the couple looking for something a little unique and sophisticated. The coordinators take care of every detail for both the couple and the team they bring together to make their dream wedding a reality. I highly recommend NOVA 535!!
